How swaggy was John at halftime before they shit the bed, lol.

"WHOA- how about this defense!! We will correct the offense but man we were SO GREAT defensively!!"

It was a given they would turn in one of the worst defensive performances to end that debacle.

Hagans dribbled up to the top and stopped and waited. Call a timeout there, get your puppies set and draw something up for Keldon or PJ.

Na better not

Cal has these guys so bamboozled they have no idea how to play basketball. I’d love to see him get thrown out of a game and see what happens.

Like in 2014 when he got kicked out at South Carolina and the team immediately made a furious comeback?

Or in 2016 when he got kicked out at South Carolina early in the first half and the team played its best game of the season and won by a hundred?

Or in August when he was in the stands and the team looked infinitely better than it has ever since?

I’d love to see it too.

They gave up 25 points the last 8 minutes in winning time.

You know, you could say that you shouldn't blame Hagans because he is a freshman, but good lord, these kids have played 100+ games a year for the last five years or so. Don't they know that with 8 seconds left you need to push the ball a little? Are they that stupid?

Our guards all have glaring weaknesses that limits their productivity. They generally aren't skilled enough or lack sufficient tactical prowess.

-Green can make some shots, but has horrendous decision making.

-Herro looks the part, but he can't hit shots. He was 0-7 from the three and missed a couple that would have put the game to bed.

-Hagans can dribble, but can't make shots.

-Quickley might be the most balanced and hit some today, but he doesn't play with much burst and has been struggling shooting otherwise.

Because of that and Cal's own personal play style proclivities, we resort to good old fashioned bully ball. We play two post guys, force-feed them the ball, and/or drive into crowded lanes. There's no spacing. We play two guys who aren't the best at defending on the perimeter. It shouldn't be a surprise to see crappy offense paired with poor perimeter defending.

Im gonna blame the 60 year old making $5M as opposed to the 17 year old who has played 100 ball games. Thanks

I was in no way insinuating that Calipari is innocent. In fact, it's about 95% on him. Hell, this team was significantly better when he was sitting in the 12th row. But still, is it too much to ask the players to have some situational awareness?

Cal tossing richards under the bus for the late screen. Lol k.

That's like complaining about getting a cold chill while drowning in a deluge.

The game shouldn't have been in doubt. Late game heroics by Powell should have been rendered futile. If we take care of business like a contender should against a NIT team, we would have been up by double digits and on cruise control when Powell started jacking.

A bad screen by Richards ought to be of minimal concern. In fact, Richards played well in limited minutes. Addressing consistent poor production from our 1/2, poor spacing by using redundant pieces at the 4/5, and, the biggest and most important, failing to secure the services of the uber talents in the last few classes.

I honestly think he gets so worked up during games that he can't think straight. Can't remember the player, but a year or two ago he made the comment that he forgot to put a kid in the game.

22-9 is best case scenario.

20-11 or 19-12 with few quality wins is most likely.

And that's not miserableness talking. Fvck off.
