Did the Louisville Slugger museum today. That's a pretty cool tour with lots of baseball history/memorabilia inside. We've never really thought about going there even though it's "right here." Kids had a blast and it's more than just watching a couple of people whittle down a big chunk of timber. Highly recommend. I also recommend frosted tip bangs, flat front khakis, PF Chang's, and tricked out Honda Preludes with ground effects.

My father in law does legal work for Augusta National. He receives eight “patron badges” each year lasting from Monday through Sunday. He also stays all week at some cabin right on the grounds.

All I have to do to receive one of the said patron badges for the entire week is break down and tell him I don’t hate golf.

But lol. I have principles. And I don’t really feel like going back to Georgia this soon after the SEC tournament. Need a weekend at home. And oh yeah, F*ck golf, and F*ck you.

Wynn is an awesome poster and I would gladly take some of those badges, go in his place next year, take some pics and forward them to him so that he can save them on his phone and brag about how awesome the trip was...you know, make his FIL feel good. Little photo shopping, it’s done.

I’ll buy you a few tickets to the red legs game that weekend and you can go watch them suck.

Deal?

Don’t get me wrong, folks. I am the son of a KY high school teacher and a body man. My parents fought like hell to put me through CovCath, and I am proud as hell of that.

I just happened to marry a woman whose dad was the guy who represented Augusta National when they were sued for being misogynistic/whatever.

He has insane access to the tournament, but is naturally inclined to spend it on client development, not his dumbass son in law.

That said, if I pushed him he would definitely get me in for whatever, but i don’t really care, so i don’t ask. Just send me to Great American Ballpark with a tall Budweiser, and this hillbilly is happy

I’d like to hear Pitino’s excuse for not unleashing a Donovan Mitchell buzzsaw in college. I mean, nobody saw this level of genius coming right? Kid’s been amazing this year.

-no longer play...but live golf events are awesome. I've seen a couple of PGA championships(Valhalla, Oakland hills), Ryder cup and the memorial. Like most sane adult males I would jump at Augusta hookup...don't have to love golf to appreciate the spectacle.

-enjoying san Antonio...headed to hill country tomorrow. Like or or not...I will give a full report next week.

Of all the professional golfers in the world....87 of them made it to Augusta. 87. To not want to go watch the best of the best at their craft at the finest golf venue in the world is simply ignorance at its highest level.

Ian Poulter was 20 feet a week ago from not being able to play The Masters...but made the putt and went on to win to capture the last berth. His exuberance told the entire story about what it means to play in this event. He is a villain to US golf fans, however, for one moment, he had many foes pulling for him.

You have a chance to go to Augusta any time and pass? You are 100% full blown idiot.

TFP.

I’m sure he was going to this year after talking him into coming back.

Story is that Mitchell was listening to him until he got caught up in a pickup game with Harden, Lebron, etc and that group basically told him he was an idiot if he went back to college.

Mitchell was tremendous last year during a few game stretch when Q. Snider was out. Mitchell ran point, created, scored, distributed, etc. Then Snider came back and Pitino moved Mitchell back to an off guard role where he was mainly a spot up shooter. A great example of where a coach's "system" gets in the way of showcasing talent.

Surprised Chad isn’t having his reception in Butler Cabin tbh. What a simpleton sports fan one must be to have no desire to go to Augusta in their lifetime.

Sad.

Also, Wynn must have no cool friends, otherwise they’d have killed him already for such a blasphemous attitude on an insider week at The Masters.

Cincy people are very weird, as illustrated.

Just assume he's gone. That way, in the unlikely event he returns you'll be pleasantly surprised. Same for SGA, Diallo, and whoever else is showing up on draft boards. "Expect the worst but hope for the best" is the way to go.

To be fair, he did almost take that team to the Sweet 16.

Darnell Dodson gave us a ton in 2010, was just the sharpshooter we needed. I also don't remember about 80% of the players that played for BCG.

Sounds like Vanderbilt wants to go as much if not more than anyone on the team. Just not clear there's anywhere for him to go.

Knox never really connected in any meaningful way with UK fans this year due to his apparent lack of interest/intensity, but if he returns, man would that change. Probable lotto pick choosing to return? Wow. WOOOOWWWWW.

Vanderbilt can’t make a 3 footer and can’t play more than a few games in a row without getting hurt.

You’d have to be pretty stupid to draft him.

From his perspective, if he thinks he is going to stay injured, Marcus go and get what you can before the NBA figures it out and you never see a dime.

-Why would any sports fan not have interest in seeing the pinnacle event of a sport? Awful take.

-Knox is going to the NBA.

-I get why Vando wants to go but... yeah I think he'll be one of those forgotten players a decade from now.

-K now with a few guards leaving when they shouldn't have.

-Cal seems to be all over the place recruiting right now. Guess he's taking this lead serious. I like that for sure.

I honestly have no yearning at all to go to Augusta. None.

Nice bridge sporting event from winter/college basketball to spring, though.

You would love it and remember it forever. It's really a remarkable place. It's so rich with history, it's immaculate and I'd have a tough time believing any fan of sports wouldn't get chills imagining the legends that have been through there. Nothing like it on Earth.

Lots of great donut shops in those towns as well.

Hard to imagine disliking or having an indifference to a UK player more than I do Daniel Orton, but if Vanderbilt goes...he'll likely lead that next tier for me.

Just wanted to put that out there.

Seems like a good kid, but the whole not playing until mid January thing is still odd as hell and throwing in the fact that Cal had to call him out to get on the court just adds to the oddity of the situation. Team no F’s about playing
