- Just booked New Orleans Apr5-8 and apparently spring break is a thing there?

- All day and still not done splitting the check talk. Usually if a place is that difficult they do not want the business. I learned that in my time counting money for Texas Roadhouse. Their theory is table turns is a lot more important than a 16 top sitting for and hour or two tying up multiple tables.

That said in my early 20’s at Dillon’s Steakhouse I loved taking the parties. I’d get 2 or 3 of those in one night vs 20-30 tables for the same money, and never bothered with the automatic 18% gratuity.

- My son has missed a ton of school this year due to medical stuff and snow/unusual off days for Bullitt county. He has been back full time and now has strep, that he apparently got because 5 kids from the Trailor park was sent to school knowingly having it.

I may be a dumbass but this place is truly special.

- BBdK I’ll be headed to Meade County Thursday around lunch time, I’ll drop off your stuff then.

- Go Buffalo!

Krazy has your duffle bag full of cash and steak knives, BBdk.

Speaking of Buffalo, I've talked myself into them upsetting Arizona. They can really run and score. Sean Miller's teams have been known to spin their wheels a bit in March on offense (right?) Maybe Buffalo can really jump out and put some pressure on the other Wildcats and cause them to abandon the post-up game? Just talking myself into it, that's all.

Couldn’t agree more on Buffalo, and they played a few decent teams early pretty damn well.

Arizona has actually been really good in the tournament and have lost to good teams, like Wisconsin in 2015 and had a ridiculous call go against them late in a game I can't remember right now that cost them a big tournament game. They typically get a brutal road, including this year.

How dafuq did we lose to this team.

Jared Dudley is straight sloppy.

How in the eff is that dude in the NBA looking like this? That's fine if you're a regular dude. But seeing him out there with a bunch of guys at 5% body fat is [laughing]

craft steak last week in vegas. Best service I have ever had, food was fine not mind blowing. Four of us chose one of the four course steak samplers about 1K when we were done meh. Just for the experience id do it again. Lamb and oysters at strip steak was best dish of the trip.

Stayed at mandalay really surreal being there, big police presence and they relabeled floors. I will say Mark Few likes to have a good time and very nice dude was at the bar late night each night. Props.

Gambol was good to me, the later it got the better I was. Spread it around craps, poker room, sports book, black jack AND roulette (yes I love it). Vegas airport going home the greasy pizza place is always clutch.

Boise? Two layovers? No way should be a first round host. Makes me angry.

Two very winnable games to get to Catlanta. We need this and have won in a variety of ways, lets go. I like my team.

Non XMAS day snow sucks no redeemeable qualities just awful. Go Cats

Can't imagine how splitting up a check is that much of a pain unless your system sucks or the server sucks/is lazy when putting in the orders. The only parties I always hated were the old bitties who ordered quiche and hot tea and tipped the change on their $9.14 bill.

I always make it easy and just pick up the damn check for the group.

Cheap f@@@ers...

- All of these supposed “experts” all discussing how awesome Davidson is and not once I have I heard anyone mention how reliable Calipari’s teams are in tge the NCAA. If he gets beat, it’s by a damn good squad.

- Last night was the one time I kinda wanted Louisville to win. Keep that Misery Train going.

Sounds like Thad Marta has an offer from Georgia and is considering it. That would be a great hire if he’s healthy and can do the job.

I can't believe none of you commented on this article I posted yesterday. Btw, Cal is apparently the devil now.

And Calipari—never one to shy away from a touchy subject—suspects this is why the tone of the national conversation around one-and-dones suddenly changed.

“It began to change because Duke did what we did,” said Calipari definitively. “And now it’s become respectable.”

He continued: “I’m happy they did it, so I can go about my business and not have to hear the crap about it—you don’t hear it any more. Five years ago, that’s all it was. When Duke did it, then it’s kind of gone away.”

Did he regret not taking that job?

“The Cleveland thing was real,” Calipari told me. “And if I had done that, I probably would have been fired like the guy [David Blatt] that was there. … LeBron wasn’t on the team at that point, and I hope it would have been the same decision. But the opportunity to coach one of the great players of all time would be appealing.”

A garbage truck rolled by. Calipari swatted at a fly gnawing on his leg. He told me the Cleveland decision, the closest he’s come to leaving Kentucky, kept him awake at night for weeks. But he felt like he made the right choice.

“You’re coaching Kentucky—and you have a chance to change lives,” he said. “That’s not what this is up there in the NBA. You have assets. You’re trying to piece a team together. You’re trying to win more games than the other guy. You’re trying to advance in the playoffs, and if you don’t they’ll find somebody else that can…”

He went on like this for a while. It’s clear he’d given the idea of returning to the NBA some thought. Why wouldn’t he be tempted? And then…

“I don’t really think about [the NBA], to be honest with you,” he said.

My child after I explained the NIT to him: "So that's the loser tournament that all the losers play in? That's embarrassing!"

Think of how miserable parenting must be if you're raising a Louisville fan. Pretty much at the birds and bees talk as soon as they can read a wiki page.

Well son, he cheated on his wife with some crazy b-word, foisted her off on his assistant and paid to delete the mistake.

Well son, he had a mistress on the payroll, crashed his motorcycle with her on the back and got fired. We hired him not long after.

Well son, they were using women of the night to help recruit and got caught so the NCAA took their banner and what little dignity they thought they had left.

Doesn’t he have some adult in his life that’ll pull him aside (before the authorities get involved) and tell him to cool it?

So the 73s were trolling hard yesterday. Wearing blue. Sitting near Deener (who looked stressed). Rooting for NKU. Pretty sure he mentioned us on air this morning. Why would anyone wear blue to a UofL game???????

Best joke of the day goes to 07 who pretty much announced this to our entire row...

07 - Hey dad do you know what NIT stands for?
Me - No what?
07 - The Not Invited Tournament

Or post jokes about him on an (obstensibly) sports message board thread.
While true, I assume his colleagues and friends have a much better insight as opposed to just reading his tweets. I mean, I won't feel bad because I can't just report creepy tweets to the police. But you're not going to tell me not one person he's ever worked with hasn't seen him do something* in person

* I am not defaming or libeling Mr. Vaught as I have made no accusation about what he may or may not have done. If anyone is wondering, I am referring to eating ice cream here. You're not going to tell me no one he's worked with has never seen him eat ice cream. Dewey, Cheatem, and Howe PLC.

Pretty sure as long as you're not threatening Greg Metzger then you don't have to worry about changing 'probably bangs underage girls' to "eating ice cream".
