Yeah, I guessing heu missed the part where Robinson had 45pts 14 rebounds and 10 blocks, but yeah he's right if Richards guy does that and he gets 10 pts it is pretty even match up.

^ Overall, I like the way he's playing lately much better (for this season). He's attacking much more, has good energy/attitude, and nails the occasional 3.

Basically, not killing us when he's in is good enough for me, at this point. Anything better than that is extry bonus.

-Chris Mack isn't leaving *his* Xavier for that current mess. He's not your regular Xavier coach.

Woke up this morning in St. Blueis.

Passed out angry last night because of the draw.

This team ain't going nowhere. This is worse then that bs IU draw a couple years ago and everyone of you basketballs know it.

Late, but how in the good f*ck did Wichita St. land a 4-seed above UK?

Wichita St. didn't win the AAC conference regular season, or even the conference tournament. Has a 74th ranked SOS. Is 2-5 against teams in the NCAA-T field. Losses to Temple and SMU in conference play as well. UK is ranked higher than Wichita St. in Kenpom, Sagarin, and RPI.

Over-seeding Wichita St. is what FUBARed UK and Arizona, and then Virginia by proxy.

I could have sworn Kentucky won that game. Guess I missed that too. What was Navy's margin of victory?

Must have been a whole lot with that bofo stat line.

Let's be fair for a second.

Would you want to piss off Lynn Marshall after last year?

I mean, this is the easiest solution of all ---> open bar on the NCAA's dime.

In all likelihood, she'll probably blackout after too many G&Ts, physically assault an opposing coach, player, or referee, get escorted out of the arena by 3-4 police, produce an unforgetable mug-shot, spend the night in jail, and the NCAA can forever ban her from NCAA sites.

Wins all around.

Diallo played as good as he ever has. Great energy on D. Played physical and bothered Admiral. We will need him to do some dirty work because, for example, if Diallo gets in foul trouble like he did, and we need Kevin to help check someone like Mr. Schofield...you can forget about it. Kevin didn't sign up for that crap. Kevin shoots the basketballs. He was too tall to play football.

Seems like a lot of the shine has worn off Greg Marshall. Even some of the sportswriters are bringing up his a-holish tendencies.

Opposite of that is Rick Barnes. I hear a lot of talk radio out of TN, which is unfortunate. Tons of Preds talk (click), UT Vols Football (click), Titans talk (click). But occasionally, there is a few rare moments when they discuss college basketball. And each time they mention UT basketball, I hear a brand new story about Rick Barnes going out of his way to do something genuine and sincere for a fellow colleague, peer, player, co-worker, fan, etc. I get his criticisms as an underachieving head coach, but it is hard not to like him as a man.

And he's not like Tubby - a lazy, loyal dog that never leaves the porch to bite anyone so we like him because he's a good dog - Rick is apparently as genuine as they come. Going to TJ Ford's graduation AT Texas last year. Almost missing a pre-game meeting to attend his SID's baptism. Little stuff like that where real effort is required to demonstrate that you're a good dude. I think stuff like that is cool.

One of my earliest true basketball tv memories was watching UNC Georgetown in the 82 NC Game. Ewing goaltended on the first 4 UNC baskets of the game. I thought that was the coolest thing ever.

Other single basketball memories Under 10 years old...

The older kids at my after school daycare pretending to be Magic and Bird.

US Reed hitting the halfcourt shot to beat UofL.

My dad and uncle dogcussing Joe Hall for losing to MTSU in the tournament.

When Jim Master or Masters (as my dad would say) hit the shot to tie up the Louisville Dream Game...I jumped up and hit the ceiling with my hand for the first time with my hand. Might be the highest I've ever jumped in my life.

^ Barnes was just a great hire.

They should have *everyone* back too, and I assume will recruit pretty well. They aren't going anywhere, and same can be said for many of these rising SEC teams. Nice to see the coaching upgrades really paying off.

UGA needs to hire Crean before somebody else does.

Maybe NCAA wasn't out to get us, but to get Zona. They don't want another champ like UL that they potentially have to investigate and vacate. Took the best two league tournament champs and set them up in Zona' bracket as hitman. Hell, we might even get a UNC/Duke whistle out of the whole deal.

The enemy of my enemy is my friend.

NBC saw a record 5.11 overnight rating on Sunday for its 3pm-6pm coverage of the final round of the Valspar Championship, the best rating for a non-Major PGA Tour event since the 2013 Players Championship. Sunday’s final round was also the best-rated golf telecast, other than The Masters, since the 2015 PGA Championship.

NBC Sports also saw a record 3.26 overnight rating on Saturday for its coverage of the third round. It was the best-rated Round 3 of a PGA Tour event on any broadcast network since 2006, and the best rating for the Valspar tournament in its history—an eye-popping 181% gain over Round 3 of the event last year.

Anyone else actually going to Boise?

Never been to Idaho, and this seems as good a reason as any other. Just hoping enough Schembari's pass on tickets so that my pedestrian K-Fund number makes the cut.

Oklahoma can do some damage as a 7-10 seed. 1's and 2's will really start sweating if Young gets hot again. Would like to see them placed on Duke's side of the bracket.
Yeah, that'll happen.
Don't doubt me 100!!!

Honestly, I think the GYERO brain trust could one up the bracket guys and pick the actual brackets at about a 75% clip. Knowing what we know and the committee refuses to admit.

- Got a call from the Wichita AD a few weeks ago and he described Lynn Marshall as feisty. He is a fan of hers.

Yes. I've known him since we were children.

He had some tickets for me and my sisters family when Wichita was coming to take on SMU.

Wichita's AD is from Benton and in his early 40's so this is one of the more plausible things chief has said.

I'm guessing nobody will believe my basketball coaching ability(not good) will soon be critiqued by a future NFL HoF TE. First game of the spring season is this Sunday.
