Wow. Thanks for being dog-shit Vandy, I guess.
This wasn't my takeaway.

We're gonna have to try and just accept that this team is bored unless their balls are in a vice, and then they fight and scrap like crazy. Sometimes that's gonna be fun and sometimes it's not. But at this point you just gotta accept it and enjoy it for what it is. If you're waiting for these guys to cover a spread higher than five, don't hold your breath.

Vandy or not, that sh*t was fun.

Is this real life? Can't tell you how happy I am that I'm going to be up past midnight on touching Tuesday after an unbelievable win, wow. Still in shock.

Yeah, okay, it's Vandy. If you can't enjoy the second straight comeback of 14+, which has happened what five or six times in our lifetime? Guys hitting clutch shots, mobbing each other after the game, if you can't enjoy that, then you're not doing it right. If all you can enjoy is dominant wins and national championships then even Kentucky basketball is going to be more stress than fun for you. I enjoyed the hell out of that overtime.

I don't want to play Vanderbilt again this year. It isn't that I don't think we can beat them a third time. I just want LaChance to be 0 for the free throw line against us forever in his last season. I want that on his tombstone. Little prick. He has smaller arms than me and my muscles barely work.

Can’t say I enjoyed it- totally opposite actually- but I am happy now.

It’s really a weird team, our best player is a combo guard, then basically the next four best players all play the same position. Cal can talk about positionless basketball but Knox, PJ, Vanderbilt, and Wenyen all are college fours. Hell, the lack of ball handling Hami has he probably could play small ball 4.

When we run into a team that plays a bunch of guards like UCLA and Vandy it’s not good...we should destroy those teams on the glass but it seems like we are always running around out of position and not ready to board.

I cannot imagine any NBA GM giving first round money to anyone on this team except Knox and Shai.

- Just glad we won. And enjoy watching Shai and Knox continue making the leap. Turning into good ballplayers. They gone.

- How about Diallo's D at the end of regulation. Worst part about that was Cal took Green out for defense.

- That Hammer X video in the stupid golf purchase thread is incredible. Easily made my day. One of the GOATs and totally forgot about it.

BOOM!
WHAM!
POW!

-I guess Shai is gonzo after this year. Finally coming around to it. Good for him, kid lays it all out there.

-Knox is a wing but I agree with the rest of your sentiment. The pieces are certainly wonky and the talents don't always compliment each other. That was my negative position coming into the season. However, I really like these guys. The other teams that had similar issues always seemed to have attitude problems as well. These guys don't, they just play hard, get better most every game, and listen. Seem like a great group.

-Win is a win. They're not going to be easy with this group and figuring out how to steal that one was huge. That loss would've be devastating.

-Does Cal just not want to interrupt the guy receiving the in bounds pass late game or is our guys just standing and watching? Luke Maye flashbacks there for a minute. Dude went 4 seconds completely unchecked for an elbow 3.

-Also, f*ck Vandy.

Winning > Losing

But *while* watching it was nerve-wracking. Which to me isn't fun. Especially against the worst team in the SEC.
