St. Mary's plays a home game tonight at 11pm on ESPN2. Wodie. One of my favorite tv gyms. Visited there last year. Tiny tiny tiny campus. Pretty area though.

-On a Mike McDonald kick lately myself - only problem is it always makes me think of Richie crooning for some reason...must have been a boat day or something idk. 'What a Fool Believes' remains one of my favorite jams of all time in any genre.

Your taste in music is clearly superior but if you don’t know him personally you shouldn’t call him Mike. Michael or Mr McDonald would be more appropriate. Or just pimp.

I mean, if I had to listen to Yah Mo B There on loop, I’d probably kill a fool. Impressive artist though.

Strange feeling we probably beat WVU...Marcus.

Atomic Blonde tonight...meh. Never really had a thing for Charlize. Great playlist though.

Little fly by Friday post

-Kinda thinking we'll beat WVU tomorrow for literally no other reason than just a gut feeling. However I can see Huggins being eager to get one back on Cal after we humiliated them in 2015.

-Dude I work with is El Salvadorian and came here as a refugee after an massive earthquake in 2001. He got married and had a kid here. Trump just repealed the treaty that allowed him to live here legally. Dude could get deported any day now, and he's a damn wreck because it would mean having to leave his wife and kid behind. Truly feel awful for the guy.

-I have a 3-iron stinger shot in my bag. Learned to hit it playing the old Indian Springs (RIP) in Springhurst. Miss that place. One of my favorite goat ranches in Louisville.

-Golf on TV during the winter is torture. Can't wait to get back out on Louisville's muny courses and let it rep.

My favorite Louisville Munys
1. Long Run
2. Charlie Vettiner
3. Seneca/Sun Valley

-DQ's Flamethrower burger might be the best fast food sandwich on the market. Don't @ me.

-Recently watched Chappelle's two new Netflix specials. While they are really funny, they really don't touch early 00's skinny, squeaky voice, Dave Chappelle imo. This might be my favorite stand-up bit ever.

Enjoy your Friday

Not a treaty, but a status provided pursuant to immigration statutes. The El Salvador TPS doesn’t expire until September 2019, so he is good until then. If his marriage is to a US citizen and is legit, which it sounds like it is, he should be able to get a green card. Don’t know if he could get it by then, but at the least, he needs to get the process started immediately.

* Having witnessed the mental, emotional, financial, and other stuffal torture BBdK's ex had to go thru to stay in the US, and eventually earn citizenship, even as a law abiding, educated, homeowning, english speaking, tax paying, productive person from a very good family.....you hard line immigration people can go F yourselves.

IMO.

* We get destroyed tomorrow night, right?

* Will be drowning my likely sorrows at the Cody Jinks show shortly after the game, for whatever that's worth.

* Got my new lizard boots from Tecova yesterday (online retailer). Good look. Happy to continue sticking it to the big box retailer. Order direct and cut out the middle man, brah.

We may be making headway on the International Pizza Scene, and have culinary delights like Minnesota has lakes, but our Muni Golf system is pretty awful.

Played Shawnee once, and lost a ball "in the fairway". Coming off 18, crackhead tries to sell me my ball back for 2 dollars. The ball I lost...in the fairway...with my initials on it.

Migos is kinda crap

They're basically one never-ending song.

-Vettiner is the best parks course in Louisville these days, and it's not even close. That track from the tips is a beast, and the past few years it's been in incredible shape. Seneca is next.

-Seinfeld was great last night. In & out in 90 minutes, home by 9pm -- my kinda show. The Palace is such a nice and comfortable venue, and wouldn't be out of place on Broadway.

Comedy is such an underrated date night, not sure why we don't do it more. Always a good time

-Sarino beforehand. Pizza was really good, pasta was okay. Cool space. Mr. Lee's afterwards for a cocktail. They're obviously going for the NYC Speakeasy vibe there, and it's well done.

That stretch of Goss has become a nice walkable area, filled with restaurants, bars, etc. Maybe one day I'll figure out how to navigate the Bermuda Triangle that is Germantown, but doubt it.

-Can always tell when Anth has had a few cocktails based on his social media/web posting. Glad to see him loosen up for a night, if anyone deserves that it's him.

-120K points posted, SW Companion Pass #3 complete. 23 months to enjoy that sucker. [smoke]

Sarino beforehand. Pizza was good. Pasta was all right. Calzones meh. Loved the pork chops. Perogis were terrific. As was the garlic bread. Got an order of breadsticks to go and ate them in the parking lot, which were okay. Garlic butter was on point.

-My great-grandpa's tavern/store was at Goss and Shelby. Burned down in the 40's after a nice lil 20+ year run. Grandma's bar was at Clay and Ormsby, which she sold in 97 after a nice lil 45+ year run. Glad the family got out of the business before Germantown exploded.

-New house has a gazebo which I am probably stuck with for a while. Makes me think of your awful pergola, Willy.

-We're getting drilled tomorrow night unless Vanderbilt has his coming out party.

-I'd kill to have a place like Johnny's Hideway (Atlanta) somewhere around St. Matthews. Need a place where I can dance to 20th century hits.

-Days are noticeably getting longer.

Saw where Old Taylor Bar is for sale. Actually couldn't believe the pics of the place that were posted of the inside. (nice) '73 should buy it.

-Guess Chad is still upset that Verizon took $600 from him, and told him to get pumped like the little bitch that he is. God that made me so happy when I read that on Facebook, and even happier that he had to delete the post out of embarrassment. Guy's life is spiraling out of control and effectively over, and I couldn't be warmer or fuzzier about it all.

Stand-up comedy shows are one of those things where you get some nice drinks and a good buzz going, have a great time and lots of laughs, tell your wife or friends "man we should do that more often!", and then don't even think about doing it again for like 3 years.

Key at Sarino is to ask them to fill a cup with marinara and then sipping it with a straw during the meal like it’s a milkshake.
