Lots of stories from that week. I have no idea which one Matt always talks about. Could be about 1 of 10 that I wouldn't feel comfortable posting on a UK message board. I also believe you'd be disappointed in most of them. Unless I just didn't know about it, unlikely since we were right there all 8 days, nothing really crazy crazy happened. At this point it's likely become way overblown.

That miss is a little easier to swallow, when you know Swannigan was Purdue's version of the Blind Side. Adopted by a huge Purdue booster followed by the whole NCAA probe.
 
I thought star Purdue PF Caleb Swanigan was white for the longest time. Cal probably did too, and that's why we have fn Wenyen, Tai, I-Zak, etc.
 
I mean, as someone who's been through it 3 times myself I get the miracle of childbirth and yes it's amazing but if Kyle Tucker is going to bring the same myopic, self-centered "NOBODY HAS EVER DONE THIS BEFORE AND YOU JUST DON'T KNOW WHAT IT'S LIKE" to fatherhood that he brings to being a sportswriter then you can count me out.

don't get me wrong -- it's nice to beat a conference team and know that it MATTERS TO THEM (past just 'beating uk' - they actually have some type of care for the sport on other days)

BUT --- that shit aint right
They're not in the right geographical area - there's just no damn SENSE to it......

When I was a kid they added the dam Seahawks and Buccaneers -- somewhere in the early 90's I came to terms with them being "real BFL teams"

NOW WE PLAY GAMES IN F'ING LONDON AND MEXICO CITTY
and wear PINK every F;ing October -- for EVERY GAME
and the AMONT OF PINK IS EXPANDING

I know this from watching some Steeler replays on NFL.com
because the international sites I was using for years NOW just shows a f'ing Dept Homeland Security seal when you go there......

So stop the damn, realignment for Gods sake -- remember when the WAC was like ... 16 teams? I think they had 4 divisions and teams from Texas to Hawaii --- I think they all SUCKED TOO.....

screw that -- but we can't just push for 3 teams to leave,....it has to be an even # or someone else comes in......who else get's the AXE?

sometimes games require a fairly complex amount of evaluation to assess how they'll develop

sometimes there's a very non-scientific occurrence of "intangibles" that just lead you to a gut feeling

tomorrow's game against the Texas team is the latter for me
I think EVERY game we've had against them has been close right?

Those dudes are actually extremely uncomfortable. First experience with them last year at SECT. Just awkward. I take it back, because of the male cheerleaders I would kick them out.

every now and then I hear another guitar player do something that I just didn't expect. wouldn't have thought of myself and I'm driven to stop and cherish that moment -- then play my strat for 3-4 hours and what not

your words just did that to me in a mental way

normally....I don't like being mentally touched without anticipating it

but I that shit was dark, funny, really .....weird....but hammered home the point like John Henry on PCP



this is turning into a wonderful night -- I have other things to share -- but am going into another area of the estate here in middle GA to "drink the alcohol" and draft some additional scope control / legal limits on the RFP I'm about to sign with this Chinese steel company.......

I haven't forgotten filling a 6K order in two hours before!

I was thoroughly impressed by my guys that day to get it done so quick, but I haven't heard from the guy we did it for since.

I guess he was mad we don't sell ladders!

I haven't had any big lumber orders since. And unlike bbdk, when I need ( 8) 2x4's, I go pick them up.

ok =- I'll finish that thought and go back and fact check BUT HERES WHAT ERECTED IN MY HEAD WHEN UOPI ASKED ME THAT

1) I'll that damn pergola/gazebo .... with the TV...is a wonderful little spot at night when the weather's right....you have a nice drink in your hand and .... whatnot.....

2) I'll bet that person (can't f'ing remember WHO it was -- will go back and check cause )...I'll bet that person gets some nice quality time in that spot

3) A good / peaceful spot matters --

I read that post and started to respond to that person cause my head was just filled with nice things when I read it

then the beer alarm went off and I forgot who posted it
I finished an article on my Blog and ate a garlic knot and then walked in to tell Brandi that Valerie Jarrett should be SHOT before a firing squad.......and.....then I came here to read GYERO ..... in my Jeff Snegegar underwear as always
