at Steph Curry. For all his shooting hype, which is deserved, his BALL SKILLS are just as impressive, imo. My god, he has some kind of filthy ball-handling/pass/shot sequence in almost every game.

The reaction from Kerr during the most recent one while the play was going on, then after he makes the shot is even better. Classic.

I mean, look at this shit....and it's just another play for him.
I watched that play as it happened Sunday. There is honestly no such thing as a bad shot or decision for that guy. He had four dudes around him on that play and still pulled it off. He marcus be Batman to my kids - they love him.

There was only DPOY.

-Andrew just got shafted b/c people didn't want to vote for 8 UK players, TS.

He's been our MVP for half the conference, and the best PG in the league. There actually isn't a real PG on the entire 16 man roster.
ohwell.r191677.gif
I guess Moody, but mostly due to height.

Oh well. Was really hoping he could find his way on a team, he deserves it...maybe the AP/Media/whatever will see the light and throw him on theirs.

Guarantee Cal will have some comments on that/Andrew. Bet.

but how about Nerlens?

Our boy is making a sneaky little push lately. Seems like once per week he gets his own sequence on SportsCenter. He's putting up some nice lines. If he stays healthy, he's gonna be really good.

Just shocking that a 6'10" athletic freak who plays harder than anyone on the court and already has one elite NBA skill is actually proving to be valuable in the NBA. Cleveland is such a dumb shit organization.

^ it's not just Cleveland though. Seems as if EVERYONE you hear the covers the NBA, even the Sixers are just kinda waiting for Embiid to be ready, and almost making Noel an afterthought -- almost like he's not even a REAL/Key part of their future sometimes. It's bizarre.

I don't get it. He can play on ANY team, and his offensive game will improve year after year. He actually has pretty awesome ball skills (2) for such a supposed "raw" player. Not unlike WCS in that regard.

Nerlens still has the quickest hands I've ever seen on a dude that big. It wouldn't shock me if he led the league in steals at some point. I still think he's the best defensive big we've had here under Cal.

I realize Cleveland is Cleveland b/c of their inability, EVER, to really get it done. Well, at least in the last 50 years.

...but IU post 1993 or so is in the conversation. With their fanbase/resources, their program has basically been a complete joke for decades. Obviously, their Football program is among the bottom 3 BCS programs of all time.

Wonder if Steve Prohm will be in the mix for any jobs? He's definitely due a step up, if he wants it.

Dude has won the OVC 4 straight years, and plays a fun style of ball.

I really hope they get in, but it's a longshot. They had a rough start, but if you WATCH them play, they're obviously a tournament team, they'd be a scare in the early rounds for most people. Hell, they were ranked the top 25 before the heartbreak vs. Belmont -- and Cam Payne is as dynamic as anyone.

...speaking of Belmont, Rick Byrd a lifer there or what? Guess so considering he's been there since 1986 -- but man, Talk about a GREAT coach. If Stallings ever leaves, Vandy should do whatever they can to get him to slide on over, imo.

Damian Jones is one of the laziest dudes in the SEC. Certainly the laziest dude I've ever seen on Vandy. Wouldn't be shocked to see him gone after the season actually. Just don't see him jiving with Stallings.

Him on the SEC D team over KAT. Hehe.

LSU basketball strikes me as a Cleveland type of disappointment. They've had the talent, the iconic names, "relative" success, but never won the Big One thanks to some inept coaching managment. Also, it looks like that cycle is about to repeat itself.

You guys are really underestimating just how sh!tty Cleveland sports have been since before we had 50 states.

St. Johns, Rutgers, Seton Hall, the Philly Schools. Depaul. USC.

Tons of places that should be great due to proximity to talent and shitty products forever.

If you're talking about a total program of junk. I guess Iowa St, Minnesota, Nc State, Rutgers.

Going back in teasing Wake to -2 single bet.

Glad I got back to even before postseason with a $500+ week this last one -- marcus welby throw my loot in the Green Egg from here on out

It's all good tho. #GAMBOL

Do plan on continuing my 1st Half Under bets for the NCAAT early rounds, though. Those little guys have treated me WELL over the years.

Rutgers was my first, initial gut reaction. I think that closes the books on this one.

Some variation of this will be spouted approximately 494 times over the next month.

Never seen it, but at least I know what it is.

Talking with Harmon, his buddy Randy Morris is having a great career in China's top league, winning titles on titles with Stephon Marbury.

They just took out Mudiay's squad in the semi-finals, likely on their way to another Title.

Randolph with 24 & 15 -- nice to see he's active in his new basketball life. Apparently gets calls every year, but at this point has no interest and/or is turned off by his NBA experience & the grind. He plays a 32 game regular season and banks close to a MIL. Not too bad.

Marbury with 38. Lol. He's like a GOD over there...their top league is apparently a HUGE deal, too. Never was much of a fan, but good for him for swallowing his pride, and making a nice career somewhere else. Not like he was an NBA scrub, either. 2x All Star, 2x All NBA (3rd Team)

Cool article recently about Mudiay getting hurt, and basically being put aside like he's nothing & replaced by Will Bynum....apparently the kid handled it like a pro.

Cool to see some of these guys making nice lives for themselves over there, as we talked about recently. Has to be an amazing experience, and in the TOP leagues, some really nice $$$. I'm sure the superstars like Marbury make tons of money in endorsements as well.

I like Cincinnati guy talking trash to Cleveland guy about being a shitty sports town. That's funny stuff. Rich.

Without OSU that state would be putrid. With it, still putrid but at least OSU gives it a little respectability. Other than that it's terribly ugly, the people talk like assholes and drive even worse.

F*ck O-HI-O.

Andrew was robbed.

Once upon a time for a decade before many of us existed Cincinnati ruled baseball.
