It wasn’t always pretty but we got the win and that’s what’s important. The CATS fought in the second half.
Young teams have to learn how to win close games. If down by 10 or up by 10 you have to realize that the shot clock causes a lot of possessions and you have to play everyone hard. Other than some really poor defense in the first half it was a great win and hopefully gives them confidence in the next close game. Also winning in one of the most hostile environments was good as well. I have been a Cal critic. Today I give him lots of credit.
Ugly! Shot poorly and out of sync on offense most of the game. But, it was a big, hard faught win and we showed some improvement in critical areas. It sure wasn't in shooting though.
It was a great win. UK did not play their best in a lot of ways. Dillingham struggled. Team Missed a lot of easy shots. Still managed to get win inspite of all that. Good sign.
It was a great win, we were down on the road with a young team and kept clawing back to win the game at the end. The thing that got me the most was at the end of the game when we had our 3 tallest men for the rebound and damned if their guy still didn’t get his hands on it. I can’t believe that, that just goes to show you the freak stuff that happens to Kentucky.
