Glad you all enjoyed these. I always like reading what other fans say after a game like this. As many have pointed out, Alabama fans and UK fans are very similar in our respective sports. I also root for them whenever they aren't playing UK, because they understand what it's like to be king of the mountain.

It is so refreshing to hear fans that can actually laugh about the futility of their team in a particular game against a juggernaut without tearing down the opponent or their own team/program. Yeah, there seems to be a lot of dissatisfaction with Anthony Grant, but they didn't let that seep into their game commentary for the most part.

That was a highly entertaining thread, and not just because we won big. There are some seriously funny posters there.

Good find! Was impressed that they weren't cutting down KY while getting beat. A lot of fans say untrue things about the KY team because the don't want to admit that KY is really good.

Alabama was just unfortunate that good unbiased refs were assigned this game. The Texas A@M ref crew would have at least given them some hope.

Facts don't matter when you talk Rupp and Bryant. There are people who believe the cigarette lighter story.

I went to the game with my wife, son, and daughter-in-law, all wearing our blue. The locals - from the restaurants to the usher who shook my hand and thanked us for coming to the game - couldn't have been more friendly and welcoming. Their coliseum is very nice, also, with all chairbacks and a nice video board above midcourt. I thoroughly enjoyed the trip, especially the play of the Cats.
