Grade Leary's performance today

I have not got watch the game yet.
We are at a volleyball tournament.
But reading this thread sure does not sound good.

Wasn’t it the last time Coen was here we started to click and improve around game 5?

I think Leary is a good QB. I think offense as a whole today (take away the first quarter) and it would be an F.

With first quarter it is a C- or D+. Leary is much better than he is playing or his surgery has caused issues with his throwing and he is having to learn how to compete with the new range of motion in his shoulder.
O-Line is going no where. Vandy against sub par competition was giving up 250 on the ground and in the air per game. UK could not muster either. Vandy had too much pressure on our QB.
Not sure but if they (coaches and players) cannot fix then we will have at least 4 or 5 losses. If we can get it fixed we will be on for 9-3 or 10-2 as the SEC as a whole is down (so far this year).

Not sure why LC doesn't roll him out of the pocket more. Maybe he doesn't think our O line can protect him.
If his strength is throwing down field seems rolling out of pocket would help.

D only because we won if it was a loss it would be a F-
Some horrible throws. Even the big gainer to Brown that he almost threw out of bounds if that's thrown inside Barion is still running. I've defended Leary but he's no where near as accurate as he was billed to be and some have been ugly.

Leary is fine per se. Had some bad misses. One INT that was squarely on him and the other that was caused by beaing creamed as he threw.

O line HAS got to improve. Got to.

Leary had some bad plays but he's ABSOLUTELY progressing and it looks to me like it's timing of the offensive plays and rust. Don't listen to half the nonsense here. If we don't win 72-0 on the road they say we suck, he sucks, etc.

I wish Drake Jackson would walk through the door. Leary can't get a good snap atleast on a semi regular basis.

It does seem like he doesn't know the play book to well or is just inaccurate. Maybe his most recent injury hindering him mote than most thought it would.

C- today
I believe he gets lazy with his mechanics and sometimes over throws the ball

But then I realize he’s often in 2nd 10 and getting instant pressure because our Oline is flat horrible - not only are they terrible blockers they commit penalties at a abnormal rate.

Yesner has been god awful in every way - no way he should be a Oline Coach in the SEC

Yenser would 100% be out of a job at the final horn of the season. No question about it. How some of these coaches get and retain jobs is beyond me. To be a position coach you’ve got to either be a great teacher (haven’t seen it yet) or a great recruiter (also doesn’t possess this skill). So the question is, what exactly does he do well besides collect a pay check?

C. He had some bad plays and some great plays. He did come from the ACC, now the big boy football starts. SEC defenses are superior too what he is used to.
