I knew this new recruiting site was dogshit from the beginning and to the people who say they don't adjust recruiting rankings based on the school the recruit goes too. This should help you open your eyes.
And guess who just gave him a ranking boost....Rivals does the same shit.Alabama OT Elijah Pritchett who got absolutely abused backing up Goodwin in the All American Bowl is ranked 43. 🤣
No doubt... they asked Mel to run it down for them... pathetic. Was the coach from Michigan allowed to rank them?
I have seen this said twice now. I didn't watch the AA game. Gormley said Pritchett was impressive and the beat OT in the class. I didn't watch but funny the drastic difference in takesAlabama OT Elijah Pritchett who got absolutely abused backing up Goodwin in the All American Bowl is ranked 43. 🤣
In the first place, I have never found On3 credible or interesting. This is one more little data point to show why. It's another click bait headline. This is what you get for taking KSR seriously. Why waste your time?I knew this new recruiting site was dogshit from the beginning and to the people who say they don't adjust recruiting rankings based on the school the recruit goes too. This and the drop in Barion Brown's ranking is sick. Whoever is responsible for this is stupid or has ulterior motives. GO CATS11
Well done, sire. Was the coach from Michigan allowed to rank them?
Wow.
Statements that the Bama signed struggled at the AA game (is that from Marrow) are countered by this guy (Gorney) from On3:
“The Alabama signee was excellent at the All-American Bowl where he dominated with his feet, strong hands and his versatility. When his team was loaded with offensive tackles, Pritchett volunteered to move inside and play guard so he could get reps there.”
Makes me wish I could watch it, as the contrast in analysis is so stricking.

True. Now that they are signed, I no longer care, what they do on the field is all that matters.
I'm not sure where they are getting the people who writes on KSR these days. It sounds like they went down to the local middle school career day and asked a bunch of 12 year old's if they would like to write for KSR. The analysis is absurd and that is saying a lot for KSR. Of course Nick Roush has always been bad. His opinions are nothing earth shattering and his grammar, for someone making a living as a sports journalist, is atrocious. In the first place, I have never found On3 credible or interesting. Besides that, look at Goodwin's and Brown's offer sheets. They are premium offer sheets. When you are getting players who turned down Bama and most of the SEC, nothing to worry about.
I think we can trust our coaching staff. They have earned it.
It's all about money. If you've ever been to any of the top fanbase sites, you know they have 10x the number of commenters/paying customers, so that's the bone they feed them with. As our football fanbase matures and the football articles start getting clicks that rival those schools, then we will get the same treatment. Until then, we just have to bend over and find our happy place.I knew this new recruiting site was dogshit from the beginning and to the people who say they don't adjust recruiting rankings based on the school the recruit goes too. Example #1 why recruiting rankings are usually the biggest hoax out there.I knew this new recruiting site was dogshit from the beginning and to the people who say they don't adjust recruiting rankings based on the school the recruit goes too. This should help you open your eyes.
Human psychology is fascinating. Why does anyone care what an obscure website says about our class? Why does it rile some fans so much? When will these fans understand that we are winning on the field and the recruiting trail? It is right there in front of us. As our program gets better, we are more of a threat to the SEC upper echelon. All this stuff is bait for the gullible.

Why should I give a rats ass what On3 says about anything? The quality of recruits doesn't change because some pandering nimrod wants to play games with rankings.
There are hundreds of prospects these "experts" are evaluating so there's no way that 90% of them are getting any more than a few minutes of their evaluation time. They rely on this guy or that guy's thoughts and those thoughts could easily be flawed or biased. My thing with recruiting sites is what makes these "experts" experts(there are posters on this site whose opinion I value but their info has proven to be accurate over the years)? What is it about a player that keeps him ONE TENTH OF A POINT from 3* or 4* status? What criteria is used? I suspect many of these "experts" were cut from their middle school football team and are no more of an expert than I am and believe me, I'm far from being an expert on anything. I really wish UK would ban them from campus.
Pressure!!
72 according to the roster was Billy Schrauth an OG committed to NDPressure!!
Just watched the first half.
If you watch even half-ass, you have to be blown away by Godwin’s size. He towers over the All-Americans.
Goodwin started at left tackle, and has better footwork than I would have thought for his size. The announcers credited an edge rusher he was blocking with a pressue in the first Q, but Goodwin had shoved him to the very back of the pocket, so I disagree.
I don’t think Godwin's man was credited with a tackle in the first half.
No. 72 played in the second Q at left tackle for the East and immediately gave up a QB pressure, but Gunner Stockton, a QB headed to UGA did 4 cuts for a ten yard gain. Later in the same drive 72 gave up a sack, barely getting a hand on the edge rusher before he clobbered Stockton. So then the East just had Stockton run it up the gut for a long TD.
The Bama Pritchett player is on the West team , I think, and I thought from Jmalone’s post, or comment he subbed for Goodwin. But 72 was someone else, and he and No. 72 were weak on that left side.
Gunner Stockton, headed to UGA is a star in the making.
Several times when the edge rusher went at Goodwin, they just gave up when he blocked their path, and tried to get in a passing lane instead of trying to go around or through him.
Obviously, a man who is 6’ 8” or 6’ 9” sets a base that is ridiculously wide, and hard to get around.
He and 77 were pretty poor.72 according to the roster was Billy Schrauth an OG committed to ND
