They looked fixed but I don’t know if they have it this year. A 3 peat is hard.

I’m certainly not predicting a 3-peat, but they looked like a team that can make it to the final four. They were playing smart and together. Honestly if the shots were falling for them at a slightly higher clip this game would have gotten out of reach for Gonzaga. But the Zags had some fight too and stuck around when the door was left ajar. I found myself envious of UConn’s defensive intensity. Guys moving their feet first and knowing where to be. Guys with their hands up getting deflections and steals. A complete 180 from what they showed in Maui. Hurley definitely got them fixed, and quick. I hope Pope can do the same with our defense.

The euro doesn't bother me, so long as it's left, right, left, shoot or right, left, right shoot. Stop giving the extra step. The dummying down of officiating is most obvious to me on the common dribble. The hand should never be under the ball while dribbling w/out a carry being called. Now it's common as dirt and I hate it.

Talked about eurostep in another thread…what makes it a walk is when the trailing toe drags across the floor, or taps it. I’m afraid the dummying down of officiating will only get worse
