Teater must win this week or card is gonzo.

Would fall over with a heart attack if he won, would be shocked with a top 10. Really nice guy but just doesn't have the ability any longer. Heard that he told someone that he is mainly playing in order to make cuts, which pads his PGA retirement account.

Social media killing coverage yesterday. Could have done better mixing in, and showing, the storyline of who gets to keep their card. That said, good to see Dahmen keep his card but this is an interesting about how he got there.

Joel Dahmen, who earned 13 FedEx Cup points as a sponsor exemption at the Zozo – the only no-cut event of the fall swing – fired an impressive final-round 64 (-6) to finish the FedEx Cup Fall 124th in the standings. The 13 points earned in Japan proved pivotal; the margin between Dahmen and 127th-place finisher Hayden Springer was just 10 points. While it’s impossible to conclude anything definitively, the points earned in Japan could easily have been the difference between Dahmen and a different golfer having status on the Tour next year. Zac Blair, who finished 126th in the standings, also received a sponsor exemption at the Zozo, so the points Dahmen earned in Japan didn’t exactly come at his expense.

So, consensus is Tony may need money with all his lawsuits.
May not affect anyone going to watch LIV, may not affect anyone going to watch PGA. At 37, he had a good year but that may be an anomaly. LIV has a lot of 35 and over guys. It's almost like the weigh station before Champions Tour.
Adam Scott may be next.
That said, their merger with DP World may change things back to a true PGA Tour vs Rest of World Tour. More opportunity for everyone.
