I’m happy to admit I was wrong about what I thought Adou could be this year…I’m very happy to admit that.
Anybody know who the guy sitting next to Brady Welsh in the 2nd row with the blue polo and the mini fro is? Seems energetic and all the managers are wearing white polos so I'm assuming he's a full time staff member.
Really like Thiero’s progression. Hope he gets a lot of run in the regular season. Huge upside as a defender. Wagner is as smooth as advertised. Getting Reeves back was a must, especially for the half court offense.
Yeah, we need to file a missing persons report for Edwards. Didn't expect this out of him.

I like the fight from this team. Germany is a taller squad with a big experience advantage. I didn't figure Cal would roll out traps and pressure for that many defensive possessions.

I’m just praying for no more injuries!!! This is an excellent learning experience for a young team. I’m already dreading the gap after these games until October!
This has been a game of runs. There’s been like 5-6 runs of 9-0.
- Thiero has guard skill but plays much bigger than 6’7. He’s played through contact, out jumped/rebound against the bigger Germany center and had a nasty block.
- Shep might not have the quickness to be a great on ball defender but his IQ makes up for that and he can see a play ahead which allows him to get steals.
- When Germany complains to refs, do the refs know what they’re saying or do they just look at the player and nod in agreement?

lol, I can't speak for these individuals, but the overwhelming majority of Germans spoke either fluent or good enough English, when I visited Munich last year.
KY has speed early 5-0 run Germany hits another 3. Mitchell and Reeves only outside shooting threats as of now for KY
