Feel like an easy fix for players sitting out bowl games is offering bonuses for eligible players who play instead of sitting out for NFL. Don't think that's possible with the portal guys though.

...and what a great draw for the Cats. Clemson one of the few top tier ACC teams and a great traditional Florida bowl. Perks of SEC for sure. As much as I want to win, just being in these games is huge for any program outside the top 5-10 schools

Sadly that works both ways.

My son would be tempted to go, NC State student (SR) but a big UK fan.

That’s sad we are where we are in the world today. If we have players at key positions sit out we will get beat down. I’m just not a fan of players sitting out. You play the whole season to get to a bowl then sit it out….

I know, it’s like only a handful of bowls players wanna play in. It sucks.

That would be an NIL thing and damn hard to do for 100+ players.
