Gas Prices Where You Live

Wouldn't be Biden's first dumb comment, he said a few days ago gas was $5 a gallon when he took office and it's now down to $3 something a gallon! Everybody knows that's a lie!
Covid is under control. Only a few cases. Should be gone by next week.

Diesel shortages were confirmed by Biden admin. Expect areas to be without diesel for 2 or 3 days this winter.

We don't use it for gas but my AmEx card gets 3% cash back at the pump so it's only half of the cash we get from groceries. BUT, they have an offer to get 50% back on the Disney Bundle (Disney+, ESPN+ and Hulu). Signed up yesterday for the $13.99 per month deal with Hulu ads. The monthly credit is $7.

Naturally, oil breaks below $80 a barrel as NKY gas prices very slowly creep lower.
Florence Kroger was $3.63 yesterday.

Back home, it was $2.78 a couple days ago at Parker’s in Statesboro, GA. We’re traveling north to attend the UK/Georgia game now. Paid $3.08 today at Sam’s Club in Knoxville.

2.99 in Just North of BG local BP Brownsville,KY
Stopped at that Marathon station in Brownsville last night on advice from a gentleman who lives nearby and I'd just spoken with a few hours earlier in Smiths Grove. Paid $3.09, which is 20 cents/gallon cheaper than other area stations and 45-50 cents gallon cheaper than Louisville stations. Plan on filling up there again Monday morning. Thanks all.

Congrats on your $7, James.

This past week, Sheetz here in the Triangle has had their 88 octane E15 for $1.99/g. Just before that it was $2.99. But you're not finding anything else here below $2.95, most are $3.10+

Came back to East TN from south Florida last Sunday. Prices ranged from $2.86 in the Kingsland, GA area to $3.39 (oddly, just about 30 miles north of the lowest price). I stopped at Port Wentworth, GA to fill up at $3.09. Here in Kingsport, it ranged from $2.95 to $3.09. I went to Bluefield, WV on Saturday and saw it for $3.65, but coming back down I-77 towards Wytheville, VA it was $2.95

National avg. Good news is that global demand is falling from the global recession. Bad news is that Russia is debating cutting production and OPEC has said they would not increase production if Russia cuts. Also we have used most of our strategic petroleum reserves. Any hiccup now would see a huge spike.

Florence Costco $2.87.
Kroger near me $3.59.
The contrast in prices amazes me. Yesterday at the Shell on Stone Drive it was $2.65, but at the Shell 4 miles away on Memorial Blvd it was $2.79. Those stations are owned by the same company (Roadrunner Markets) who has a few dozen stores in the region.

The most expensive Kroger, just 2 exits from Cincy, is suddenly the cheapest Kroger at $3.17 unless you go 13 miles southwest to Florence Mall Road @ $2.73.
