Towles isn't playing bad. He had a big mistake, that compounded by going right to a defender. He's also thrown 2 very nice mid-range balls and had a TD dropped. Other than that, he's not been protected and hasn't been asked to do much. Game flow has been slow.
We can't continue trying to pass down the field. I know that's what everybody likes but it's either run the ball or throw very quick.
The D is playing well again and the O is letting them down. Towles cannot read the blitz coming...
Haha, Towles has been under fire all night. Blaming him for that last play, for instance, is moronic.
Read the blitz? Florida is getting pressure with 4 of 5 guys. Have you not watched their DE's just fly by the tackles?
There's always one game a year when the defense surprisingly plays lights-out and the offense lays a turd. Guess this is it.
I would say the offense will make adjustments in the second half but that hasn't been our forte. And theres really no cure for your tackles getting whipped.
Better bring in a tight end and two backs to block or we aren't going to move the ball at all. Both teams offensive lines look like garbage but their line is a little less atrocious. Plus the qb is making plays out of none with his running. Maybe Towles needs to run as well.
Stupid to think Towles didn't have time on that last play , he is waiting for someone to get wide open . Successful college qb' throw it before the player gets open , Towles doesn't have anticipation. The oline blows but Towles had time right there .
We can still win this game for sure, but need a big play from defense soon (ideally one that scores points).

O line Is horrid..Where are the West And Swindle lovers? George is playing awful also. This is sickening.
That ball was coming out of his arms and the ground allowed him to "catch" it. Incomplete pass.
