Game thread!!!!!

Embarrassment to the fullest.

Stoops should be embarrassed, not proud.

Terrible game management at the end. Terrible play calling.

Coaching staff looked incapable of winning this game. Period.
i said since the first game i didnt think we were very well coached, and got crucified for it. untimely penalties, horrible clock management, terrible play calling, etc

Towels is the opposite of a playmaker. The receivers made some mistakes as well but Pat made one play all game. We'll never beat Florida.

If anyone still think Towels is a good QB then you are an idiot. He can't play at this level and that is obvious now.

I don't understand the clock management. Didn't use our first time out until 59 seconds left in the game.

Well I'm disappointed, but winning at SC pretty much made this game less painful. It still sucks, but if UK beats Missouri ( a big if for sure until we win the game), then 4-1 heading into the AU game.
UK isn't doing anything of note with this qb.

I have no confidence in this coaching staff whatsoever. Same Kentucky football. Same 29 year streak. And I doubt we win next year against FL either. Also, Towles, make sure you get ready for your life after CFB. It sure as HELL won't be in the NFL.

Lets hope that is Towles final start. He has shown now over and over he is not good.

This UK team is missing what it takes between the ears and in the chest. Also our coach looked like he wasn't SEC caliber tonight. His play calling became very predicable and totally misused his timeouts. His hurry up approach hurt UK and did nothing to Florida. By the way, UT will destroy Florida.

We had plenty of time to win it, but we just didn't make the plays. I don't have a problem with the timeouts, just the execution of the plays. Towles did terrible with his inaccurate throws and taking the sack the final drive.

So you're saying Patrick shoulders no blame for the loss? All the offensive line's fault, huh?

No, he definitely could have played better. The problem is when people who seemingly don't know wtf they are watching are hammering him. The entire offense played a bad game. Not just the QB. Shouldn't need explaining, but I'm not surprised it has to be.

I'm still trying to figure out our playcalling on that last drive when we ran it for like 2-3 yards and threw a short pass when we had 80 yards to go and less than 3 minutes on the clock. Lots of wasted time there.

Glad you know so much more than the rest of us, Towles is shit, plain and simple.

It isn't the times Towles was under pressure thats the problem.

It's the times we needed him to complete a decent pass in crucial moments. He can't do it.

The time-out management was terrible. You take that timeout, slow things down, and call some good f'ing plays. You don't needlessly hurry up, you're not Bill Billichick, and Towles ain't Manning. We needed solid play, not tons of timeouts and useless play calls for quick nothing yards.

Towles has got to learn how to get out of the pocket, he needed to make plays tonight, he didn't and the Florida QB did, that's the difference.

Problem is he will never learn ... he is currently what he was last year, and what he's been this year. An inaccurate QB who has a brilliant throw 1/10 times. Put Barker in, he can't do much worse, but he could do oh so much better.

I hope Rhavic is on here tonight to apologize to those of us who aren't wearing blue tinted glasses. If any of us said anything critical or gave our opinion that this team just isn't there yet or that Patrick may not be the QB everyone would like for him to be (and he isn't), Rhavic was sure to lay into you with either your a troll or know nothing about football.

The D played well enough to win tonight. The offense; not so much. I understand that putting Barker in this game didn't make sense. The coaches need to script a series or two for Barker early in the Mo. game. If they don't, then Barker must be worse than Towles. That's possible, but not likely. Barker's thrown some nice balls in practice, but has made lots of mistakes to go along with those good throws. I'm at a loss here. Towles is not consistent enough to be the starter, but no QB will succeed if the I-line can't do better than they did tonight.

The tackles had trouble with FL's speed on the outside and got beat a number of times, but the staff made 0 adjustments over the course of the game to get the tackles some help.

Towles missed easy throws all night and made a handful of tough plays. With the game on the line, though, he absolutely blew it. His management of the game late was awful. The coaches completely screwed the pooch by not saving some more time before the last FL punt. Basically, everything except for our defense was a complete fail tonight. Way to go guys! 29 years of fail.

Good game Cats, had me stressing till the end....

What game were you watching? Cats D played a good game, but the O was pretty awful. Florida's D had a lot to do with that for sure. Good game and good luck the rest of the season.

unbelievable there are pumpers for Towles. I like the kid, but no way can he lead us in the SEC. His arm is far too weak.

I'm more worried about his accuracy than his weak arm. Weak arm QBs play better than he did tonight. Very disappointing.

If we had a accurate QB we win the game tonight.

I would be perfectly fine with Barker starting vs Mizzou next week.

It is clear that the staff does not have confidence in Towles throwing the ball. If you have a QB under center that is handicapping your playcalling then he should be on the sideline. The staff will never admit that but actions (playcalling) speak louder than words.

Like I said I would be fine to see Barker start next week.

I actually meant all the way around weak, but understand the interpretation.

If Towles is our starter of the future we are screwed.
