Our Defense is weak. 3 years in, the Defense should be better than this. That side of the ball just isn't aggressive at all and the D is playing bend but don't break defense and ugh ... I hate that style of play

I know Stoops has his hands full but I'd like to see him run the D. I don't know if Eliot is the answer.

I think the defense looked okay but our LBs just aren't stepping up into the holes quick enough. I would think if Hatcher and Flannigan were in there it would be a little different.

Our defense will improve when Flannigan and Hatcher return. They have given up one TD, no big plays on the ground or through the air with one pick and one fumble caused and recovered. I will take that. I guess some of you want a defense that pitches a shut out in points and yards allowed. Good Luck with that..

I don't see how people can say that the D is weak. This is exactly the D I expected UK to have, it's much improved over last season.

our defense is alright if we were playing a top 50 team, instead we are playing ULL. Wish we would recruit faster DL's and LB's like UL does. I'd rather have them be a little undersized but fast than be bigger , stronger and slower like we have right now

No but we should not let a small team like this dominate the ground game. We are still soft and not aggressive after 3 years.

ULL has a veteran o-line. Saying that, we should be better against the run. South Carolina will run down our throats next week if we don't tighten up.

I think people forget that is actually a decent team. They aren't the normal cupcake and are a well coached team.

New OC has called a great game, but Towles just has to be better. A good QB would have at least 5 TDs tonight. As bas as I hate to say it, he looks like the same guy he was last year. And that won't cut it.
