We just can’t do what it takes to score or win against good teams, oh so close but then get pushed back like a man against a boy.

Per Tom Leach, 5 times in the last 6 games we’ve had the ball inside the 5 and did not score on any of them.😵
And this is one of the side effects of NIL. It makes a coach more likely to stick with the guy that's being paid the most cash instead of playing the best players. Stoops already had a tendency to stick with guys too long before NIL.

I've said it before - is it just me or does Hamdan call a completely different set of plays for Boley? Sure seems like we run shorter routes, throw to the middle and flats more, etc. Doesn't excuse BV's inability to read a defense and throw to the open man. But, constantly having him drop 5-7 steps into a hard pass rush with our OL ain't doing the kid any favors. Surely BV could run some of the shorter, timing plays that Boley is asked to run.

Nope. Just an accurate passer vs a thrower. BVG is just a thrower. And he is not anywhere near as accurate as Boley on ANY pass play.
