I haven’t been this mad at UK losing a game in a long time. Unbelievable piss poor coaching. Although with Stoops I shouldn’t be surprised.
The game was lost because we had 4 turnovers and they had 1. Plus dingles face mask penalty was back breaking. It’s easy to blame the defense because that’s the last thing we saw. But the prior mistakes are what put us in the position we were in.
DONT act like none of yall has seen this before. everytime we got into a 1 possession game. we go to rushing 3 and playing 8 to 10 yards off the ball. ive seen it year in and year out. if they would have rushed 4 and played a 2 deep zone. ah what the hell. no sense in talking about it. its over now
It’s a bunch of things. But you can’t let a team march down the field like that. We kept give 10-15 yard cushions. You don’t win games that way. And you could say, “Eh it’s a one off” but it isn’t. We’ve lost way to many games with this “bend don’t break, but actually breaking” defense.
Softer than Charmin
Against anyone good? I hate saying that but name one good team we beat this year (UofL doesn’t really count).
KY has plenty of talent aside from QB but the schemes they are using both sides of the ball aren’t using the talent to full potential

Didn’t help for sure. But we had the lead did we not? Had to get ONE stop on the last drive and couldn’t do it. That’s what happens when you leave 10yard cushions. You get picked apart.
The offense cost us too many possessions and put our D behind the eight ball.
Dingles penalty wasn't back breaking unless we don't have enough discipline. The official missing the defender facemasking Dingle on the same play is a bitch though
Man I'm not counting anything for this year. This year our offense was Ray Davis and prayers, and it's hard to win football games when your QB is Devin Leary. It's not like the defensive philosophy has changed over the years.
I'm taking the longer view of this. Stoops has won twice in the Citrus Bowl with this defense.
Exactly. We had the lead by 5 with a minute left. You just have to get a stop. Period.
The officials let Clemson hold literally the entire game. Did they have one holding call?

Absolutely NONE. I’m tired of both our major programs deciding not to show up when it matters.

The mood in BBN was very sour before we beat Louisville. Beating the dirty birds, plus the drama with Stoops possibly going to aTm, seemed to energize folks again.
That's all kind of wiped out by pissing away a bowl win against what is arguably a marquee program, even if that program had a down year. 8-5 looks a helluva lot better than 7-6. Many of the problems that manifested during the regular season were blatantly evident again today, so the team/staff wasted an opportunity to get them corrected.
Next season is a new slate of games, sure, but ending the season this way just creates the perception of a program that is, at best, stuttering.
You said talent, need me to read it for you ? Also look up Clemson and Nil and tell again that isn't an excuse

That’s also what happens when you’re defense is on the field continuously because of 4 turnovers and quick scores by our offense.
Elite teams get the win. Once again we lose a game because of a TOTAL systems failure.
And that’s getting real really old.
Yeah. I’m tired of using it as an excuse. We had that game won. Coaching lost this and piss poor execution (which is ultimately coaching) also lost it.
No excuses. None.
I disagree. When you are talking about the quality of a coach, one year doesn’t mean much.
You keep Clemson under 13 points the 1st 3Q by not playing soft, then you go soft and make a HORRIBLE red zone offense look like miracle workers.
Your offense goes anemic first, and then schizophrenic and turns the ball over 3x in the 4th quarter.
Now that's a clusterfk, and a microcosm of the season really. If we played like we were behind FOR AN ENTIRE FCKING GAME ONE MOTHERFKN TIME under this staff, we'd beat the LIVING SHYTE out of some people. NOT that this coach is capable of thinking that way, but ffs SOMEBODY slap him and TELL HIM that.
