Fox and Monk info courtesy of Giles

I will concede that all your arguments are with merit. As to freshmen in big situations, I am not the only one who thinks pressure plays a part. Announcers always bring this point up if a freshman is called to the line to make a big free throw under pressure situations. And yes, I think ultimately Fox and Monk end up at Kentucky, but I'm not throwing in the towel until they make their announcement. I did that with Wiggins and was pleasantly surprised. Thanks to the knowlegable posters who responded with sound arguments to shoot mine down, versus those who called sour grapes and the such. Good discussion.

I have yet to meet a decent Kansas fan. I'll give you the benefit of the doubt on that one because I live 1,500 miles away from Lawrence, Kansas so I don't come across many. But 97% of the Kansas fans here are garbage. Kiimo is an absolute clown, but it looks like he finally ran into hiding.

Fox has been recruiting for UK for some time--he was done for you guys once he got offered.

Monk has loved UK and was/is the guy that Cal has been preaching "positionless" basketball to sell fact he and Fox are interchangeable. (which btw they are)

Giles is seeing the group UK is putting together for next year and it's appealing. Will that be enough to overcome his bromance of Jayson Tatum? Unlikely. However it's impressive as he knows he'd not be relegated to paint--which is why he's so big on team he plays for having 5's in place--UK has Humphries/Wynyard and it's why they have stayed with Bolden......best thing for UK is if Bolden goes to KU over Duke imo. Maybe it won't matter--but Giles wants to be used like Julius Randle and face the hoop/play on wing a lot.
Thanks for the info, I like the sound of this. Monk and Fox would be an amazing backcourt, maybe even better than Wall and Bledsoe.
