I'm watching the replay on ESPN since I worked through most of the 1st Half.

At 9:38, Humphries comes down with the board, Carerra grabs the ball and rips it away, and Humphries gets called for reaching in.

Is this a legit foul? I feel like you getting the ball yanked out is bad enough.

I realize the officials were dog crap all day, but holy hell.

I thought they'd call a jump ball. Wasn't that another sirmons call?

Why I don't get the Ref Apologists on Rupp's Rafters,Kentucky beats USC jr by 27 and we still complain about terrible officiating, yet we have the illegitmate children of Tony greene and Karl Hess on here defending them constantly, doug sirmons doesn't have a dick so he couldn't have children

I believe coaches can get fined for criticizing officiating. What can be done to players who criticize them after the game is over? I assume that is why he removed it because of some kind of rule against the players as well. I thought it was funny by the way and the refs deserved it.

Yes,Coaches can be held accountable for speaking out about shoddy officiating,it's high time that Officials are held responsible for their job performance.

That was a ridiculous call no doubt, but the one that stood out to me was in the 2nd half when SC made a 3, and then Sirmons called a foul on Briscoe as the ball went through the basket. I honestly can't ever recall seeing that happen before. That was a 5 point possession for SC. Oh well, we blasted them anyway so it didn't matter but I just found that one to be a little strange.

I don't understand coaches and players getting fined and punished for speaking out against bad officiating. Refs destroy the game and punish the players, players and coaches speak out, and get punished again? Where is the justice? Some of these calls aren't even close. There are ludicrous calls being made and refs have to be held accountable, especially with some of the gambling scandals that have happened.

They never showed a replay that showed briscoe during the play. Every replay was just the ball going through the hoop. Not to get sidetracked but camera work during these games is atrocious too. I don't want to watch Martin picking his nose while the ball is literally in play. I don't want a closeup of a guy's face while he's shooting a free throw and for gods sake, show some relevant replays! We wanna know what actually happened. There's lots of times that the whistle is blown, there seems to be something happening, and the accouncers are rambling on about some irelevant crap. Tell us what the hell just happened! Between terrible camera work and announcers that are apparently not paying attention, a lot of things are missed, go unnoticed, and have no explanation. Sorry, I went off on a crazy rant.

Refs are protected in all sports. As to why, I couldn't tell you.

My favorite thing is you can't touch the ref, but they can put their hands on you.

Found this little tidbit 2011. The two at the top.

Surprised meter? Deceased.

This shows they are not managed or measured at all. Having someone at the very fringe of a stat like that calling a F4 was a travesty.

There was a span of about 5 minutes after Cal was tossed that I could not believe. Some of the biggest B.S. fouls ever

Without going back and watching I instantly knew the play your referring to. I remember laughing out loud at it. Humphries literally had the ball in his hands, got stripped, and got called for a foul. I know refs make mistakes but when they call a game one-sided because they want to "teach a coach a lesson" that's the equivalent of cheating.

I had question about something as well. During I think it was Murray's first 3 in the corner in the first half in front of Carolina's bench. One of their players stood up and yelled at him as he was shooting. Is that even aloud?

Plus, I think Carrera walks most of the time he bowling-balls his way into the paint... gets stuck in traffic and shuffles his feet.

Directly after that in the other end Lee took the ball from a player and they called a foul.

The one that really got me mad was the one they called on Lee, where he took the ball right out of the guys hands and didn't even touch him.
Worst call of the game. Coaching staff should file a formal complaint with the SEC and send a video of that call along with several others. I normally don't bitch about the officiating but it has gotten to the point that UK will lose games because of it if something isn't done.

Far worse was the foul on Lee when he ties up the SC player and takes it away. Both announcers were incredulous about the call.
