Fortnite

I play couple times a week, its fun. Have one solo win.
Got pretty lucky tbh. Got off a few shots then spammed grenade launcher to the bottom of his fort until it fell and the fall damage finished him.

I'm not sure what I dislike more. That zombie BS or the turrets. The turrets are just awful. Fortnite needs to stop changing so much shit. Gonna lose me as a player if they keep this up.

I tried to give it a shot, but I just can't get into this game. I'm a big fan of shooting games (mostly fps). I just hate all of the building crap that goes on. I just prefer to play in more realistic/semi realistic combat with boots on the ground. It's hard to find good games in the style I like that a lot of people still play.

I don't like the feel of the Battlefield games though and prefer COD, but they keep going with the futuristic crap all the time like wall running, jet packs, and specialist skills. Maybe it's just me, but I would be alright if they made one really good game and just added new maps and game modes and kept it going for a few years without a new game being released. I think I am just going to get phased out of gaming in the coming years.

Have to say Season 7 is pretty sweet so far. I kind of hate seeing Greasy Grove gone though.

I don’t play much Fortnite, but I have a ton of games on steam... if any of you guys are PC gamers feel free to shoot me a friend request, same ID as on here

I heard about a guy they call Ninja that makes over $15 million a year playing Fortnite. That is just insane to me. I guess if Pong ever takes off again I am set up to make a lot of money.

Ninja makes between $500,000 to 7 figures a month.
JESUS

Sorry I didn't see your post first. What I heard was 500K per month from YouTube, 500K per month from another gaming site, over 1 Million per year in merch sales and another 2-3 Million in endorsements for a total of 15-16 Million per year.

I don't play, yet anyway, because my wife's nephews play and they are always buying some kind of "cards" at Walmart in order to play. What's the deal with the cards, sounds like it could be expensive.

I know you think it's not possible and clearly think making money off gaming is dumb. There is literally people that play and stream Retrogames as well as a full-time streamer on Twitch. You should check it out if you are great at retro games like speedrunning you could make some serious $$.

And oh yeah, the planes are still awful. How they haven't been vaulted is beyond me.

I’m not big into fortnite or games like it. But my son plays the hell out of it. The V-bucks are an optional way to buy what you can earn in most cases. You could very easily go broke buying V-bucks.

Funny story. My son purchased $500 worth of V-bucks using my credit card. This is how I learned of V-bucks. PlayStation thankfully refunded the money. He is in the process of paying me back for it... and will be for a long time.

13th solo win yesterday and have officially tied my 11 year old daughter as king of the house. I hope to surpass her this weekend. HEHE
And I like the new season so far.

Definitely one of their better updates. Apex pushed them to do some big stuff and I'd say this new season is pretty damn solid so far.

New map changes are awesome and the minor things like being able to Ping stuff. The problem is at the end it seems like you're up against a Ninja level player every single time.
