Former UL star Junior Bridgeman medical emergency

Dude had one helluva successful life. Led his HS team to the Indiana state championship, lead his college team to the final four, had a long successful NBA career …and then became a self-made billionaire in the business world.

And I don’t believe I’ve ever heard of him doing anything wrong.

I had the honor of meeting and spending time with Mr. Bridgeman. He was as humble and unassuming as all that's been written. A truly great man who was philanthropic and generous.
He was a hell of a business man. Inspirational honestly. He came from an era of not getting rich off playing and made his life as good as anyone.

Tremendous player. Only made 4 million in NBA earning but his net worth was $600 million…he owned over 300 Wendy’s and Chili’s.

RIP Junior
Yeah there aren't too many examples in the world that could exceed the level of truly self-made worth he pulled off coming from nothing.

Without saying too much, I CAN say that I owe part of where I am today to Junior and his family. Mr. Bridgeman built a legacy for himself and his children, setting all of them up for life. Probably the most humble and generous Billionaire you could ever come across or have the pleasure of knowing. Even though he has given millions, you won't find his name adorning buildings. He hated receiving awards or recognition for his philanthropy. He was never a man of many words, but when he spoke, you listened. His mission was to help others. He was a devout Christian and it is reflected in how he runs his businesses. Rivalries aside, Junior was a Mentor and inspiration to a lot of people, including myself. This world lost a great man who did things the right way.

It didn't take much reading about Junior Bridgeman, who he was as a man, his moral compass and his giving nature to figure out where that all came from. He was definitely set apart from the world which is even more difficult when you have unbelievable wealth. God bless you JB. You just won the race.
