It’s crazy to think that an All Kentucky NBA team would win the championship with ease. It still hurts though how all this talent only yielded 1 title for UK.

Yup, because it’s easy to win a 68 team single elimination tournament.
If you have 5 times the talent of everyone else, you should be able to win 6 straight games if you can halfway coach. It’s not like you have to beat 68 teams.

8 of the top 36 scorers, 4 of the top 18 rebounders and 4 of the top 19 assist guys in the NBA are UK guys.

It will help with recruiting for decades to come.

All the anti nba people always used to talk up the tubby nba players and pitino and hall ones and so on. The nba hate seems to be exclusive to calipari era.

A lot of those beloved players from previous eras didn't win a national title either. Most failed to in 3 and 4 seasons at UK, which is a bigger failure IMO

Maybe if they we’re playing a series. One bad shooting game, one hit shooting, one game with a key player in fouls trouble can end you.

I understand your point, but it's not like the guys on this list all played together.

Fox & Bam did in 17.
SGA & PJ did in 18.
Herro & PJ did in 19.

The rest have been scattered over different seasons. "Five times the talent" compared to other teams that have also had future NBA players on their rosters isn't correct. The only season that remotely comes close to that would be 2015.

You left off Booker being second on the Suns at 28 PPG. which is crazy in and of itself.

68 is irrelevant... just gotta win 6 games.... and the first 3 should be relatively easy.
A 68 team single elimination tournament is irrelevant? How often do you think the #1 overall seed wins since they just have to win 6 games and the first 3 are relatively easy? There’s nothing easy about it.

Just couldn't possibly care any less how they are doing in the NBA.
I get it, but you probably should.

It's mostly because of our NBA success that we're getting guys like Bradshaw, Edwards, Qauintance, and possibly Dybantsa.

Plus our guys were at their absolute worst when they played here, each one has improved year after year.

Sure, but what has that done for us so far? Kentucky should be focused on winning championships and that isn't happening with Cal's philosophy of getting people in and out as quickly as possible.

That's because the coaches before Cal were trying to win for Kentucky and planned to be at Kentucky for more than one year in order to work themselves into the NBA. With Cal, the players don't see to care about Kentucky or winning championships; their focus is on getting out of Kentucky as soon as they can and only caring about themselves. So it's not NBA hate, it's love for the Kentucky Wildcats that drives these thoughts.
