The name of the game in football is recruiting. So I got to thinking about how successful teams were that recruited the best and what teams got the best and worst out of their recruits. The following is a record of recruiting efforts starting in 2009 to the present.

SEC recruiting average since 2009:
1. Bama 1.8
2. Ga. 5.69
3. LSU. 7
4. Fl. 9.38
5. Au. 10.38
6. Ta&m 15.53
7. UT. 16.15
8. OM. 23
9. S.C. 24.46
10. MsSt 26.38
11. Ark. 27.23
12. UK. 36.23
13. MO. 38.38
14. VU. 49.76
Here are some rankings from teams that are always ranked in the top 25.
Ohio St. 5,69, USC 7, Texas 9.30, Fl St 10.41, Oklahoma 12, ND 12.46, Clemson 14.61,
Mich 14.7, and Miami 17.15.
Looking at the numbers it's evident that some coaches get a lot more from their players than others. I was surprised that Clemson has been aat the top with their lower rating compared to others.

What Coach Stoops has done with the UK program is remarkable. Taking over a program that was rock bottom and building a foundation starting with the big uglies on both sides of the ball and then adding to them has been amazing. Now as he adds the last ingredients, more skilled players and a efficient QB the results will/are paying off. We arevso lucky to have a Coach Stoops

Thanks, it would be interesting to view the numbers from 2013 to current which would be exclusively the Stoops era.
