Football Ticket Price Increases

Even that can be expensive. Braves have tickets that range from 25$ for general admission to 295$ for premium seats, not boxes. So it can be expensive taking a family of 4 to a Braves game. I am guessing those are in line with other teams.
I always like sitting in the outfield myself and I can usually find tickets in that $20 each range or sometimes less. Admittedly, the two teams whose games I’ve attended over the last 12 years have been terrible.😂

If we were doing what our peers are doing we would be spending a larger portion of our current overall budget on football than we do. Being 7th or 8th in the conference in budget but spending 12-13th on football…then coming and telling fans they need to do more to bridge the gap to make or keep football competitive isn’t a winning argument. If they are doing what others are doing from an admin perspective and then coming to fans that’s more fair to ask us. The way it is now it’s essentially asking football fans to pay up for the extra they spend on women’s basketball and whatnot and frame it as though it’s needed specifically for football to compete.
TBF, that's a legacy issue due to having overspent on basketball, compared to our peers, for so long. Plus, it was just announced that UGA will use only $13.5mm for football of the $22mm revenue share for all sports, so there is an opportunity to close the gap.

That is basically the model that most teams were expected to use. That is 3-4 on basketball. I see UK giving closer to 10/6 split while the others are 13.5/3.5.
