Technically its been going on 4 years now since they were dominant. The ACC is the gonna get the hammer drop during the next round of conference shifting. As soon as the SEC decides the conference dies, it dies. We just aren't doing it yet, of course. We don't want to seem destructive or money influenced, but it will eventually "mean more" again very soon.
The ACC homers on the networks know this too, because they were losing their collective minds during the last round of shifts because they know it's almost over and hate it. UNC being in the SEC is going to be a hard pill for a lot of ACC guys in a few years. I suspect the UK / UNC game becomes the premier game in the country too.
Duke will either try and pull some Notre Dame "above conferences" routine and go independent or something but I have my doubts. I think Duke will end up in the BigEast. They might be recognized but there's no way a BigEast team remains in their position nationally. Can't wait!
Yes, Justus and Kyle Tucker used the Sallis recruitment to attack fans over their reaction to the BLM/kneeling issues. I would have to think the fact that the team was in the midst of going 9-16 may have had something to do with Sallis going elsewhere.
Was thinking last night, while watching Gonzaga, what they would look like with Sallis on this team. They’re playing damn good basketball right now. That loss is isn’t looking as bad now as it did when it occurred. They’ve been on a tear since. They have some excellent college bigs.
Correct and which of those 5 all ACC players start for us it even be stars in the SEC
