Point Spread For UK vs. Gonzaga

Idk.. +6 sounds kinda right considering our last outing. Carrs gotta show up in this one to have a chance. Their bigs can draw you out and create.

For the record, I have it -3 Zags on a neutral court, without consideration for Butler’s injury.

How neutral is the court? How is Butler?

We just need to come to play. Gonzaga steamrolled Baylor but lost to WVU. Far from insurmountable, but I understand them being a decent sized favorite.

If I was a betting man, I would bet on the opposite of what people bet on here and I would make bank. I hear more crying about not covering on here than a naked man does on the North Pole.
And I have a difficult time taking people serious as a fan when they talk more about betting than actually watching the games because they love their team.

That’s a CRAZY line. I woulda have said pickem
Based on what ? We are on the road, after losing to a team on the road, who is not as good as the team we are playing on the road. Not to mention our starting point guard is not healthy and may not even play. Pickem ? LOL, I wish you was my bookie. Gonzaga's 2 best players are 6-10 (Huff) and 6-9 (Ike). We have struggled rebounding, that does not bode well. They have 6 players who average DD's and have as much or more depth than UK does.

I wish I knew if butler was gonna play. They got him at +125 for under 3.5 assists. I feel like he’s probably not gonna play and that would be easy money

I like UK to cover . This game is technically a neutral floor in Seattle, butt will be obviously a hostile crowd.

I’ll be at the game with my son in Blue giving it my all. Go BBN!

If he doesn't play, there is no action. If he is ruled out, they will not offer a wager. If you bet it already and he is ruled out, it will cancel as a "no play". learn betting. If prevents people who took him over 3.5 assist from losing a bet because a player did not play, same situation for if someone took the under, they will not take a L because he didn't play. This is basic gambling. SOME books will even refund your money if a player does play but gets hurt EARLY, the book will not count it as a loss, it will be ruled a no play. Not always, but it does happen.

If u can’t then there is something wrong with you if you’re a real fan.
I’m 47……I can’t imagine falling asleep during a Uk game. My dad, who is 80, says the same thing.

People that have to get up crazy early, understandable. I wake up around 6:30 and just stayed up until midnight on Tuesday for Clemson game.

After losing by 4 to a pedestrian(Clemson) team on the road, this game does not bode well for UK vs. The Zags. Couple the above with the fact that UK will be less than 100 percent due to Butlers ankle injury, this makes for a very difficult road game for UK.

UK plus 4.5 to 6.5 points is what I guess the spread to be, with the game more likely a 10 point plus win for The Zags.
Remember this is the same Gonzaga team that beat a good Baylor team by over 35 points a few weeks back, on what I believe was a neutral floor. I hope I am wrong and that UK ekes out a close win.
Someone give me reason to be more confident.
How dare you have this negative take! Kentucky by 50!!

If Butler plays and is close to 100%, this is a pick-em game. +/- 3 points, either way.
If Butler doesn't play, Gonzaga by 10+ points.

Thanks for the heads up.

I know there are a lot more Zags fans in that area but they have to buy tickets and not scalp them to UK fans. I'm thinking it won't be as much like a home game for Gonzaga in the gym; you'll have plenty of blue company.

Oh, I don't disagree with that at all, my post was directed toward Cal's trailing rosebud.

I may not have been clear, but I agree with you on the state of the program when Pope took over. I was just adding to it by saying with Pope we have the right person to get us back to the top.

Yeah, plenty of blue UK here. We have traveled well. Bout half and half pregame. I’m sure that will change. We have enough for a GO BIG BLUE chant!
