Florida coach Jim McElwain doesn't like to give a whole lot in the way of details regarding player injuries but we do know a good bit about the status of several Gators for the game on Saturday.

I spoke with Landon Watnick, beat writer for InsidetheGators.com right here on Rivals.com/Yahoo! Sports, and here's what he had to say about the Gators' health status:

- Safety Keanu Neal “should be good to go for this weekend.” Watnick told me that the issue has been a hamstring but there’s little doubt he will be set for kick on Saturday night.

- Vernon Hargreaves III tweaked his leg in practice last Thursday and his absence is one of the reasons the Gators struggled defending the pass at times against ECU. Although this wasn’t any kind of official word from UF, it was a knee injury.

Watnick said, “I would be surprised if he didn’t played. He was mentioned as questionable but it would be shocking if he didn’t play.”

- Freshman offensive tackle Martez Ivey was out against the Pirates, too. “He’s going to return,” Watnick said.

- Senior receiver Latroy Pittman was suspended and that’s now lifted. However, Watnick cautioned that he’s probably not going to be much of an impact player.

- Gator linebacker Alex Anzalone is “a question mark,” Watnick said, before adding, “I’d be surprised if he played.”
