Florida fans thoughts on the game.

the fanbase who wanted a "home run" hire and a big name, or a prolific offense without caring much about the defense.
JMI but I think Stoops was a fairly big name hire. The Stoops family has been highly regarded in football circles since the 90s, Mark was DC at FSU the year before they won the national championship. But yea there were a lot of people screaming for Leach or Petrino (you can only imagine what a disaster that would have been)

If UK and Stoops know whats good for them he will retire from football at UK.
What Stoops has been able to accomplish at Ky. after Joker tore us down is nothing short of a miracle.
I still believe if we win today and can get CRod back by at Ole Miss we not only have a shot at the SEC East but also the National title! Need to stay healthy and hungry.

Apparently you’re confused

Was a simple clear observation that the MAC QB we played last week if UCF had they’d beat 7’s last night.

7’s represents U7 hopefully that clears it up for you.
Who cares about that? Apparently facts bother you.

UK played an unranked MAC team last week. Stuggled early but won easily. UF played a team ranked 7th in the nation from the PAC 12 and won.

First games can be misleading for sure. However, one win was considered better than the other.

Sorry you don't grasp things like this.

Anything else you need understanding, I'll be glad to help. I will try to dumb it down for you naturally.

Today we find out if Stoops is right for the job. If Kentucky can get somewhere in the SEC. Can't keep losing and below 5.00 in SEC play. If we can maybe make a big bowl. A loss is same ole Kentucky.

Lol dude wasn’t looking at arguing with you. Actually agreed with you just made a simple point about the QB for Miami and the talent gap between him and the UCF Qb who was ranked very high coming out of HS.
But I see now what you are.
Either way GO CATS hope we can pull out the W tonight.

Funny....you smart off and you can see what I am. That is awesome.

Now you want to pretend you didn't and act as if I started this. Excellent logic. What a child you are.

You'd think so, but it was not received as such by many of the more vocal negative fans.... and it didn't keep them from wanting him fired during his first 5 years. I can't imagine how bad we'd be if either of those two were here for a couple years before leaving again.

Lol. Thought I'd opened a thread from 2015 by mistake .... gtfoh

My plan against AR would not be to flush him, that is playing to his strength, getting in situations where your defender has to tackle him 1 on 1. I want to use a controlled rush, staying in lanes and forcing him into areas he isn't as comfortable with, reading coverages and throwing accurate passes. I rather take my chances with his passing than counting on my DBs who he has 30-50 lbs on or my LB that isn't quite the athlete he is. I personally don't like the spy unless I just have to because you are playing D with 10 then.

Was thinking the same thing

Flush him let our linebackers meet him. He won’t last.

Just don't see losing in the Swamp when KY is that undisciplined on the O line. That is your bread and butter in good years. To win I think KY would have to win in turnovers and return a kick for a TD probably. We will put a top DB on that receiver and I think your QB will have a long day with that undisciplined O line.
Hmm.

You serious right now? You're still doubting whether or not he's the right guy? He's only the all time wins leader and has been here for 10 years.

Very well could be if we can't generate a run game.....50 yds rushing against UF is a recipe for Levis to be on his backside much of the game, as UF will pin their ears back and bring enormous pressure on Levis if we can't establish the run game.

That could make it ugly......not to mention the environment is going to be nasty hot/humid and LOUD
I like my blue crow fried!!

I honestly think it's not the gator's fans fault they were so confident. The issue is Utah was severely overrated so the hype from beating the #7 team was what they bought into. Utah is actually probably a top 30 team and so is UF. UK is just a top 15 if not a top 10 team. We're just simply better.

it was easy for them to be over confident, if you listened to any sports radio this week. Finebaum and the guests and callers spent the whole week dismissing UK and telling us Bama would roll over Texas. If you listened to their comments about our team though, you could tell none of them knew what they were talking about. They knew nothing about Kentucky except the name on the Jersey. I wasn’t even impressed with Florida against Utah, so that confused me as well.

To be fair, the team didn’t play great against Miami, and the OL was still a mess to start the game tonight

I didn’t see a win tonight either, but I am glad that I was wrong

You have to play the game and see who wins but just think this will be a down year like 6-6 for KY after seeing that opening game. There looks to be some major issues.
And there's the danger of projecting a full season off of a small sample size. I'm gonna go out on a limb and say this Kentucky team will be a bit better than 6-6.
