LOL at Duke fan starting a thread over here . UK will still have the number 1 class so this is soo funny . A class of Fox , Simmons , Monk , Bolden , SKJ and Bridges is easily the #1 class as that is 4 top 10ish players and 2 more top 20 players.
Duke will most likely have the #1 class. Giles, Tatum, Gabriel, Jackson, possibly Bolden. Hard to beat Giles/Tatum. Will be close.
Yeah I'm surprised that he had time to talk Duke basketball while he is gearing up for Ohio State football to kickoff Monday. Bandwagon fans...smdh!

Never seen this guy over at Devils Illustrated before. For what it's worth, I would hardly say he's hardly representative of Duke fans.
I won't say he is or isn't a Duke fan because I don't know but I wouldn't use Devils Illustrated as the litmus test to determine that. Both UNC and Duke fans have a much larger presence on the Scout forums as opposed to the rivals forums. (for whatever reason) so you never know if he could be posting over there.
Pretty early to be saying something like that, especially when Duke already has the #3 player (Tatum), will be getting a commitment from the #10 player (Jackson) tonight, and will more than likely land the #2 player (Giles) after his official visit in October. Personally, I'll wait and see who ends up where and how those kids are ranked.

Yep, first thing that jumped out at me was the "Ohio" portion of his moniker. Dude has probably never even been in the same zip code as Cameron Indoor. There's some damn good Duke fans, but good lord, there's some real sack riders too.

Any successful team, really any team - Duke, UK, UNC (but especially UNC), Louisville, etc - has stupid fans and obviously we found one here. I would say, based on his post and history, I wouldn't be surprised if it were another fanbases' attempt to make ours look bad.
I come here because there's two teams that are clearly ahead in recruiting right now and I like to see updates on the other team's efforts. Plus only reading your own forums for too long will turn you into the type of people that inhabit IC, and no one wants that. It's funny to read both sides of who has the best class for 2015, or who will have the best class for 2016, but in the end the only people that really care about this are people who work for ESPN/Scout and those who spend too long thinking about it since none of that matters until March/April.

I get why so many Duke fans would sign up and post frequently on a UK board. Over the years here, there has always been an influx of posters from the fan base that has recently had success.
Let's not forget that the dynamics of all the Rivals forums changed when the format did. As the mods warned everybody, anybody who had been previously banned was now getting a fresh start. Since the conversion we've seen so many new posters (or old flamers with new names?) show up out of the blue as if they had been posting here all along and there is no telling how many are fans of one school with a new name pretending to be a fan of another school just to troll up the board.

Just like this season DUke might have the #1 spot for a while in recruiting rankings ( not that it matters at all ) but when its all said and done we will have it . Also Bolden will not end up at Duke . Both Duke and Uk will have 3-4 top 10 players but UK will also have a few more top 20 players to round out the class thus the best class . Sounds silly saying it but mark my words it will happen . IN the end though both Duke and UK will have amazing classes but I just hope UK fans show more class then the Puke fools over here.
Hard to beat out a team that has 2 of the top 3 and a couple more top 15 players at least. 2 or the top 3 will be the difference. If UK has the higher ranked class it will be because they will have the bigger class. It's possible UK gets the top spot(they still have a chance with Giles I guess) but it's certainly no guarantee.

Pretty much how I feel. Won 38 games last year and had a very good chance to take care of business with the #2 class, and I liked our chances vs Duke if we'd made it to the title game. I know Cal will haul in monster classes every year. Plus, even if we're #2, it'll be splitting hairs, with the way Cal recruits. Difference between us and #3 will be 2 or 3 burgers.
Never pay attention to ESPN rankings... guys they know Duke will land are always shoe horned to the top

I just wonder who's going to be the first to transfer. Odds are greatly against all of them staying in the program for an extended period of time.
K won't be able to keep all those stars happy with PT. He won't platoon like you saw Cal do last year for the good of the kids and you can take that to the bank. He will play his top 7 or 8 guys unless there is foul trouble. Hell, Duke only had 10 scholarship players to begin the season with last year and 2 of them transferred. Duke fans can say he's recruited the best talent for 30 years, which is true. Recruiting them and keeping them happy are two entirely different things. I'm pretty sure Plumlee and Jefferson were McDonald's All Americans and they didn't get much run last year unless there was foul trouble. I guess we will see....
LOL @ ESPN ranking the Duke class ahead of UK's. UK's class consists of two NBA lottery picks (one of which will be the #1 or #2 overall pick) for next year and another first rounder. Duke has one possible lottery pick on the entire roster for the 2016 draft, unless something miraculous happens.
