Says he was told to sit down tonight twice at Rupp.
Ridiculous. Some of those people at Rupp need to get over themselves.

Those people won’t be there for UL. They will give their tickets there seems to be some people with trepidation about a new team. The crowd will show up for big gamesSays he was told to sit down tonight twice at Rupp.

I had my 7 year old som stand in the aisle toOne could argue that fans could clap and cheer just as vigorously while seated, and everyone could see the action.
That's right I said it.
It's unfortunately the way some are, and she's probably just still angry about the election. We were about to walk out tonight and decided to stay for the postgame made one step outside the glass door not even outside the building just where the floor changes color. The lady said we were out and couldn’t come back in. I said really. You have got to be kidding me. So I said ok whatever. So we down past the old Rupp arena floor they have hanging up and walked in on that end and went to the postgame show. I just think sometimes people take their job a little too seriously. I mean come on people. I literally took one step past the lady and she said nope you’re in the outside.
I’m mid 40s. If I wanted to sit the whole time, I’d stay home and watch from the couch on TV. Just my 2 cents but:I dont agree with standing the whole time or close to it. Stand for big plays and such.
I'm 37 so not some blue hair. Not saying the caller was one of those people that stand the whole game but just saying.
If they're tall or otherwise "big" they can be a problem with adults. They're "seats" for a reason.I had my 7 year old som stand in the aisle to
see at the Zaga game. Adults standing up can be a problem for kids.
He needs to buy himself a "pooter" for times like that.Says he was told to sit down tonight twice at Rupp.

Start of the game - Stand up
Close game - Stand up
Timeouts - Sit down
Getting beat down - Sit down
Good lead - Sit down unless something deserves a standing cheer. (Great defensive possession, big play, and so on).

I was a stander until started taking my kids to games. Then you do your best to put them behind the shortest person just in case.I had my 7 year old som stand in the aisle to

Silly take. Almost certainly will be there for the loserville game. Those people won’t be there for UL. They will give their tickets there seems to be some people with trepidation about a new team. The crowd will show up for big games
60 yet bluey? One could argue that fans could clap and cheer just as vigorously while seated, and everyone could see the action.

I’ve lost count how many times this ridiculously stupid topic gets beaten to death on this forum.
Good grief people. It’s common courtesy to be mindful of people around you and not willfully block the view of others. If the intended expectation were for everyone to stand the whole game, THERE WOULDN’T BE ANY SEATS in the arena. This is not a difficult concept.
Believe it or not, you’re gonna be 60 someday you little shit.60 yet bluey?
The accepted bigotry against older people is amazing in this country.Believe it or not, you’re gonna be 60 someday you little shit.
Yeah, this is what I was thinking. If dude was just standing up the whole time, he's going to get told to sit down. Nobody wants to stand the whole game, because you want to stand. That's rude.I dont agree with standing the whole time or close to it. Stand for big plays and such.
I'm 37 so not some blue hair. Not saying the caller was one of those people that stand the whole game but just saying.
I would find 6 people that were 7' tall, buy the seats in front of those people and pay the 7 footers to stand the entire time, then watch the game from home.Had 4 people in front of me at Kroger Field that stood the entire game, every game, for a full season. Did it as a badge of honor. Great fans. Awful. Stupid. No need. We ended up watching the games on the scoreboard.
Or maybe notBelieve it or not, you’re gonna be 60 someday you little shit.
I get that, but what if the dude on the call in show was standing the entire game? I mean, most people don't want to stand the whole time.I'd tell them to stand up if they want to see or leave. Rich, lazy people ruin Rupps atmosphere

There I feel better I got that off my chest and I am sorry I committed to have committed such a horrible act but in a moment of anger I lost control.
But they don't cheer at all I think is the actual point. (Many of them.)One could argue that fans could clap and cheer just as vigorously while seated, and everyone could see the action.
