We'd play #9 Arkansas in the second round. You know, in a dream world where a Cal team makes it to the second round.
3 SEC teams as one seeds seems like a very long shot.
Agreed. I think it is very unlikely we land a one seed tbh. I’d be very happy with a 2 seed which I think is feasible3 SEC teams as one seeds seems like a very long shot.
3 is the most any conference has had in a single NCAA Tournament.Didn't the Big East get all four Number 1 seeds back in the mid-2000's? I think Pitt, Louisville, Villanova and maybe UCONN were all 1 seeds from the same conference. Might need to fact-check that.
i don't want that. a pissed off cal, could hero win a game against us, then promptly lose by 20 the next game.
Yeah, ain't gonna happen3 SEC teams as one seeds seems like a very long shot.
Looks like they had 3 one seeds that year. I was really curious and had to google around. Found this random B10 article from 2021, but states the ACC (2019) and Big East (2009) had 3 one seeds.Didn't the Big East get all four Number 1 seeds back in the mid-2000's? The actual committee would have St Johns playing Arky in the 8/9 game in our region...We'd play #9 Arkansas in the second round. You know, in a dream world where a Cal team makes it to the second round.

That would be something.3 SEC teams as one seeds seems like a very long shot.
It's December, there are 20+ games left to play, this will in no way be close to what actually happens.
It's a fun exercise ( I guess) but I never understand why anyone gets overly excited (good or bad) when these come out.
