Saw the Police in concert at Rupp in 83 or 84. Worn out two cassette tapes of Synchronicity. Great Album.My dad and sister are seeing a Carpenters tribute band Sunday. My parents loved them so we grew up with the 8 track playing in our wood den with shag carpets. John Denver and Jim Croche too.
Synchronicity by the Police is a good one. 1 and 2.
Yeah, he wasn’t even a Boomer-he was part of the Silent Generation. Either way, he was super cool, but his actual music was pretty simple. The people that followed him (the Beatles, etc.) took his music to another level. Still, he had a few bangers, which reminds me to let everyone know “ Agent Elvis” premiered last night on Netflix, and it’s entertaining, if crude and irreverent (EP would love it).Elvis was great but before my time.
