When Mark Stoops speaks, it usually includes a comment about NIL or the transfer portal that enrages fans and boy, is it exhausting.

Stoops' insistence to bemoan NIL, or seek sympathy for all the work he has done, is EXACTLY the wrong way to use his Bully Pulpit.
Quit with the negative, "whoa is me," tone.
Instead, take those moments to openly push, sell, brag about specific NIL opportunities for listening fans. Literally keep a list of NIL opportunities/activities in your pocket, pull them out and talk about them as great opportunities for fans to help.
NIL is what it is, and it ain't going away.
Hearing a whiny Coach does nothing to encourage me to spend on NIL.
I've done more to publicly boost Kentucky's Blue Lite beer, than he has (unless I've missed something).
The first beer vendor I saw at Kroger last Saturday, I asked if he had any Kentucky Blue Lite on his cart. I'm not sure he even knew what I was talking about.
SOMEBODY SHOW THE DAMN INITIATIVE TO GET NIL PRODUCTS OPENLY AND LOUDLY DISPLAYED IN THE FOOTBALL STADIUM!!!!

Yep. Cmon Mark get your bourbon distillery to produce a good reasonably priced UK nil bourbon and promote the nil beer. Get it in the stadium.
These were my exact thoughts listening in the car to the call in show and my reaction was to shake my head in frustration for him to please stop!! If I were his spokesperson Id have knocked the mike out of his hand. Its a losing stance and worse it makes it look like he's totally out of any other answers to fix anything himself, and that's where fans start giving up.
He is totally out of answers... Can't force a square peg into a round hole... though we've been trying with him for 12 years
I have long promoted the ideal the Burbon industry, the Horse industry/ Casino monopoly make major contributions to the NIL funds.
NIL will not solve the poor time management issues or the lack of player discipline on the field . The offensive scheme also is confusing and inconsistent . Coaching in football is more important than any other sport and requires 24/7 hands on devotion. Since Stoops marital issues surfaced it seems as if we have trended downward as a program and he seems distracted. The change in his physical appearance and body language is further evidence of this. NIL will not fix that.
No thanks we’re long past that. You’re idea is a day late and a dollar short. Far past time for him to go!
