I think you are missing the point. The dude held up a sign saying “please go to texas.” At no point did he yell vulgarities to the players and he hasn’t been accused of doing so.

I can't stand Calipari and wish he would have left already. But yeah, as an athletic program you can't allow a dude in the Rupp stands to sit there holding up that sign. Chances are good he was going to hoist it up during every dead ball and time out, and probably was going to walk around the concourse during halftime while holding it up. It looks bad tossing him from Rupp. IMO it looks worse if he's allowed to stay and continue holding up his sign [and invite copy cat agents of change].

Civil war aside, have you ever heard of the Supremacy Clause? It’s article Vl, paragraph 2 of the constitution and I think you’ll find it quite interesting.

This statement is not accurate. State and local governments are bound by the First Amendment to the same extent as the feds. This is a matter of law that was settled long ago by the Supreme Court.

Through the 14 the amendment as I understand it. I’m not an attorney but I don’t think a city owned arena is obligated by the Constitution to allow free speech inside the arena.

The government owns and operates Rupp arena. You have yet to provide any legislation that supports your argument and I have provided plenty. Yes it does. His line of thinking scares me because he still has yet to provide any evidence at all supporting his claim. He’s loosely referred to the 14th amendment which actually flies in the face of what he’s claiming. It really is surprising how little Americans know and care about their own country’s fabric.
