I agree also. Besides just because you claim to be a UK fan on twitter or a message board does not make you a UK fan. Smart recruits understand and tune that stuff out.
If fan negativity hurts recruiting then I'm starting a Blue Devil account and begin heckling that dirty program. That theory may hold water until the Nike bag man snags another 5 star for the Dukies.
There are a few but most on here just bring up what he needs to do better. I don’t mind that type of constructive criticism.

Yeah I have said this many times but Sportsfan with a capital S is horrible and absolutely the worst thing about sports in general. All you gotta do is read the game threads when we are losing or only even winning by a few and you can see this play out . People say freaking atrocious things about 17-19 year old kids and take this way to seriously . And that is coming from someone who looks forward to Tuesdays and Saturdays of the season like a religion.

I mean we did have the rooferee death threats right? Probably only 1% of the fanbase, but still not a good look. These kids have a lot of pressure on them already they don't need 50-60-year-old guys with no lives attacking them on twitter or calling them out. Just saying, I see it both ways and I don't think we are the only fanbase that has those types of fans. Probably some backlash from Whitney and him quitting maybe. These kids nowadays are soft as Charmin. They can't take what some of us could 20+ years ago when it comes to athletics. But a lot of them keep idiot circles around them too.

I 100% believe this is true, I also believe it is 100% unpoliceable. There is nothing that can make it stop, and even acknowledging it is likely to make it worse.
What are you going to do? Shame and get the rest of BBN to tweet the couple people and harass them until they stop? well thats negative tweeting and could just as easily turn that recruit off since its BBN attacking its own.
