Fan in wheelchair. Couldn't get down to floor AFTER the game. So what did Coach Mark Pope do?.....

Mark Pope is a man with character and fit to be a leader. Make us proud to have him as the HC of Kentucky beyond what he does on the sidelines and a former player here. Pope is a class act and love to see the lengths he goes to build a relationship with the fans.

He's winning games with a quickly put together roster. The recruits are coming. The transfers will come. He can develop players. His character is incredible.

It doesn't matter if he loses 8-11 games season one in THIS SEC. This guy is great.

He is a good man, I think Cal was a good man don’t get me wrong but I think a lot of what he did was for self promotion sometimes. Pope seems like he would do similar things and not tell a soul about it.

Mormon's are generally some of the friendliest people you will meet. Visit Salt Lake City and it will make you wonder what is wrong with the most of the people in this country.

Just watching what he did made me tear up. He is the perfect fit at UK, I don’t think the other coaches we missed on would have embraced the BBN like Coach Pope.

In my opinion, I’ve seen way too many arrogant, misplaced self-important coaches lacking in character – on both the college and high school level - who were held up as saints by fans simply because their teams won more than they lost. I don’t understand it, but I guess it’s human nature to some degree. But Pope has either fooled everybody or he’s truly an unusually good and caring person.
