"Experts" Now Say UK Possibly Losing Grip on Bol & Langford

I don't think it should come as a shocker with Bol. I like the kid's game, but with his size and skillset, does he really want to sign somewhere that likes to get up and down the court? Maybe in the end he decides to and signs with Kentucky, but after watching this kid in clips, he just doesn't look like a kid Cal usually recruits to play in his frontcourt. With Langford, I hope this is just false information so not many will think it's Kentucky during his announcement. This kid does look the part of a Cal backcourt player. If the kid doesn't sign with Kentucky, It means he signs with a school we might have to play in the NCAA tourney and with this kid's talent level, that ain't something we will want to see.
I could honestly care less if we land either of those two. Many other great targets we can land.
I'm nervous. At this rate, we might only land the #1 class again, instead of the greatest class of all time.

Im sorry. I'm just sick of seeing this. If you say you "could" care less, then that implies that you're somewhat intrigued.... because after all, you "could" care a little bit less then you do at this moment.

Well, yeah, I'm sure anyone would happily take 3 of the top 5 players in the class. Haha. Would love, love, love, two of those first 3. All three of them would be an absolute dream class.

If indeed these rumors have teeth, could it be that Bol was offended by Cal and assts. not picking him on the Egypt trip? Langford and folks weren't crazy about his playing time over there either. These coaching gigs can be a two edged sword with recruiting. You make some new friends and possibly make some enemies as well. Just a thought.

never expected Langford and don't want him really. Bol I want bad and I think we get him if we want him and why wouldn't you want a top 5 player who is insanely tall and can shoot like he can?
On the news tonight, they asked him if he knew a committee picked the squad, and he said he knew, and that Kenny said he should have made the team. So he knows Cal didn't have the pull to get him on.
A committee of coaches selected the players. Even Sean Miller said he did not want Bol playing on the team. And voted that way
Bol Is not a center. He is a stretch power forward he does not have the body or strength to play Down Low and try to fight out bigger body stronger guys. He is about the best shooting big man in the country. Now if he comes here and Coach Cal Parks him underneath the goal and forbids him to shoot any jump shots from 15 ft and out then yes he needs to go somewhere else. It will fail miserably with him trying to force him down low much like what Coach Cal did with labissiere
Agree about Bol. Bol looks more like an Arizona type player. The most similar style type player to him at UK was Skal. Not a big selling point there for us.

I think it's possible Cal is backing off Langford a little because he's feeling solid about Reddish/Barrett, both of whom I'd prefer over him. And I kinda doubt we get more than one.

Romeo did not impress on the trip and when he played, he jacked up crazy shots just to get his. I think it was the first time he's not been "the man" on a team. I saw a few players that i would want before Romeo.
I hope the staff doesn't spend a great deal of time on him. This kid is IU bound.

Langford is a big Adidas kid who will wind up at IU imo. I'm not worried about Bol.
I'm sure others have pointed out the obvious "then"/than problem, but what's going on with "COULDNT"? It appears to be missing something.
