We should just assume everyone is in the portal these days. Go talk to whomever you want and see what kind of roster you can build. Welcome to the new reality?

Half of Alabama's team just left and they were almost in the championship game. Yes, welcome to the the new reality. Assume everyone on the team is signed to one year deals, and will need to choose to resign or ''test the waters''. At years end.

yeah, it's crazy. After the season we just have everybody line up and pick shirts and skins.

Why the NCAA lets this go on I'll never know, all they did is make it harder on themselves making sure schools are complying with the rules. It looks the athletes are running the NCAA now, the NCAA's power was already diminished, now they are just making things worse. It needs to be a one time transfer then sit your ass out for a year if you want to do it again, that's the first step in regaining the sport we all love back.

After every season, everyone should enter the portal. Then, in May, we have a draft. Plus, all teams should have a salary cap. The NIL idea was for players to share in the profits they help create…not to become snotty 18 year old millionaires.

It’s as if NIL created a new breed of athletes, and not the good kind

NIL sucks!!!!! I agree players need compensated in some way, but as it stands NIL will destroy college athletics.

THE COURTS RULED THAT THE NCAA CAN NOT RESTRICT TRANSFERS! THE COURTS!!

Seriously- there will probably be some government intervention to help, but the NCAA can't restrict transfers and can't limit NIL money.
