For those that believe you must have projected draft picks on the roster to compete for a title, UK now has five (5) players projected in the Top 100 of ESPN’s NBA draft board.

No, you have to have actual first round picks to win a title. 2012, 98, 96 and 78 all had at least 2.

I mean, all this says is thay they don't predict any players to be drafted (Brea at 60 just literally sneaks in).. and we will never know if a team like Boston would taken Kobe Brea at 61 or not.

I also still believe that this team is winning because of 1. Coaching, as we pulled wins put of our asses with 2nd half adjustments and 2. Experience, we don't make a lot of mistakes.

If we win anything in March it's gonna be because of those two things.. not our talent.

There's only 60 draft picks in the draft. Four of those guys would not even get drafted, even according to that optimistic list.

Yeah, I don't care about draft picks either, but Cal does. In fact, Cal sacrificed seasons at UK and is killing his reputation as a coach, all for the purpose if getting kids drafted, that were getting drafted anyway.

And here Pope is, making players better by playing team ball and putting them in positions to succeed on the bright stage.

So what I'm saying is, Pope is doing more to help these kids than Cal is and Pope is winning games too.
