Ok, was just brought up on KSR again.
For those who do not remember, here is the deal.
We were facing 3rd and Goal around the 5 yard line. Clock running down.
Stoops lets the clock run down to 10 seconds.
Calls timeout.
We run 1 more pass play (Barker doesnt see a WIDE open Badet in the end zone - no one within 10 yards of him) which results in an incompletion.
On 4th down, w 3 seconds left, we kick the FG and time expires.
WAY too many people are thinking that was a terrible move, that we settled for a FG or something.
The only thing we lost by letting the clock run down is if Louisville was called for a foul that gave us an automatic first down.
BUT, the fans saying that this was an awful decision that we had settled for a FG is just wrong.
