Hard not to root for Eaglestaff. After watching this piece from his high school days, I can see that his work ethic is amazing, and his heart is huge... I think he would make a great Cat!
And….there’s the answer. Thanks true! There's a difference between committing and actually signing. A committment is just a verbal agreement. nothing is signed. Just like a high school recruit. they can commit all they want but they are still fair game until the signing period and they sign their LOI. after that it's hands off. If Eaglestaff never signed his LOI, then he was still fair game unless his agent shut it down. Fortunately I think all of our guys have signed their LOI's.
That’s not terrible, just these really dumb on the nose names like “Wishing Wells” or something. Like do you hate your kid or something?Hate to admit it but wanted to name a son Cory Dallas - grandfather was named Dallas- Corydalus is a genus of megalopteran. I'm a nerd.
I’ve seen plenty of parents like that but they are getting worse!I think maybe you could leave "these days" out. Almost 50 years ago I went to school with Mitchell and his younger brother Tritchell.
What’s funny is the low down dirty cheating Vols were the ones to take a stand. Shit has gotten crazy when Tennessee starts running players off for ethics. That’s almost unbelievable. If schools want to take a stand on this NIL/Transfer era he would be the perfect way to send a message .
But tough to get every school to agree to it .
I believe it is signing the financial aid scholarship. That can be done the day before the semester starts if admissions wants to allow it. Once class starts you must be enrolled for that semester to play. This may be slightly off topic, but it parallels the theme of this de-commitment.
At what time does a commitment become legally binding to the point damages could be incurred if either party breaks the commitment?
I know the good ol days of a man’s word is his bond, or a handshake actually means something….but what instrument is actually in place when a portal transfer “commits”?
We had two brothers that were African American twins. Ones name was Barombi, his brother was Jerry. ???? That don’t rhyme??I think maybe you could leave "these days" out. Almost 50 years ago I went to school with Mitchell and his younger brother Tritchell.
Nope. Sorry. Signing means nothing now. We just had a decommit that had already signed his LOI. It means nothing anymore. Acayden Lewis had already signed.And….there’s the answer. Thanks true!
This.I actually think that if Chandler played for North Dakota, he'd probably average similar numbers to what TE averaged last year.
So kind of like "dating" and being "married".And….there’s the answer. Thanks true!
Sort of. It's more like "dating" without ever having met. Which begs the question, why not just wait to commit? So kind of like "dating" and being "married".
Clearly we are because we couldn’t land that final piece for a title to save our lives.UK is not a beggar.
