I don't see "troll" in his posts at all. He's very reasonable, I've learned from him and IMO his level-headedness helped me get over the bitterness of losing to Tennessee.

Scheyer doesn't have Duke rolling. Flagg does. Before Flagg people were questioning if Scheyer was a long term fit there.

No I’m realistic. Pope was in year one. He’s not at the medias favorite duke. Some people after a loss all say negative stuff and even praise rivals. I don’t think any coach in the current elite 8 has been there just this year. Just saying. Are you a child, people who are over negative or pessimistic, take out stuff on the coach/ players have a crappy life. It’s obvious pope is going to get players and he’ll be expected to do even more year 2. Most people on here I believe are trolls. I been on here for years, got banned because I call out trolls and most of them trolls are gone and now here more are to stay.

Scheyer about to set record for most wins in first 3 seasons as head coach in NCAA. Flagg has only been to the school one year. Flagg isn't everything.
Damn Good Point, but most coaches don't start out at a school like Duke in their first coaching stints. Clearly, he is capable.
It's not just about total wins. I'm not going to take the time to look it up, but I know he's been outcoached a few times. There's way more that goes into what myself and other people were saying about Scheyer than 'total wins'. (And the ACC didn't magically turn to crap just this year.) Flagg very much helped Scheyer's perception this year.
Tubby left when he needed to. Tubby didn’t stop coaching. Tubby recruiting was suspect. Tubby didn’t have players sit out to protect stock. Tubby tried in the sec tournament. Cal should have been gone after covid year. Tubbys recruiting wasn’t good but Cal is an awful coach.
The only “logic” I used was the fact that the OP showed up about the time when Cal left and CMP was hired and his posts usually appear to be made to stir up shit .
Before cal fyi we were way ahead in this category. Cal put us here. We are hopeful pope can get us where we need to be.
You want respect? Start by not congratulating tenn. EVER but especially not immediately after they end our season. Good luck with getting respect here after that.

When you have 2 Final Four dry spells like we've had one running from 1999-2010 and the other one starting in 2016 & still counting. You fall behind. This comes as a result of inferior coaching. Tubby's last 9 years Then 2 years of total incompetence with Billy Gillispie. And now thanks to John Calipari we've now gone 10 years without making the Final Four. Tubby & Calipari should have both been out of here at least 2 years before they left.
