The top ten PG's I just saw listed has Dent #1 and Thomas not in the top ten ranked PG's in the portal?

You know what, now that I think about it, Crazy Train would make just a wicked cool home games players intro track.
Where were our guys ranked in last year's portal, with this staff I'm not getting hung up on rankings, if they want them than I'm good with it.
Hopefully UK has enough "NIL" funds to get a couple of these high-end recruits for next year. A lack of talent and scorers like Dent will most likely be the reason we come up short this year. In order to truly compete for National Championships, a team needs as much pure talent as possible.
Just off the top of my head, Butler was around 40-50ish overall, and Krissa was around 120ish. I believe Garrison was our top ranked transfer, around 25.
We should definitely go all out for Dent. I mean his comments and profile fits Pope like a glove. Our back court would be super elite with him.
Another reason we need to pay for this dude is we can’t let a Kansas or especially a Duke get him.
Yeah, Sleepers guys think Kansas is a possible spot along with us or possibly St. John's. Said Xavier is unlikely to be the pick because Dent apparently said he wants to be at a place where he can get to a Final Four.

Thought it strange that Thomas wasn't on that list. That's all. His stats looked good for a freshman. Pope now knows the type of players needed to win in the SEC. They have to not only be talented they have to be tough and good enough to not be bothered by full gym's and good enough to overcome rogue refs.

Big question from this one is how would Dent to UK impact Jasper and Acaden. Would Acaden be okay coming off the bench/splitting time with Dent? Would we go smaller and play Acaden/Dent/Jasper together some minutes?
I don’t mind the show but they don’t have great connections to inside info.
We are trying to win a championship. If someone isn’t interested in competing for playing time and earning minutes then the big question is “Can I show you the door?”

Kentucky is setting up a zoom call with dent, so it appears Kentucky is going after him as best they can

there is a huge difference between the requirements a regular student needs to get into duke vs what an athlete needs
every conference and every school has much lower requirements for athletes

Duke probably views Cayden the same way we view Acaden, that he needs a year to learn as a backup.
Eaglestaff is a 6'6" version of Travis Perry that can't guard a fence post. His defensive metrics are horrendous in a much less athletic league. Biggest fear with him if we were to take him and use him as anything other than an off the bench quick bucket getter.
I might be wrong. Per KSR yesterday, there might be a notion that a lot of these guys want to sign before April 9th (iirc) when the new collective bargaining agreement kicks in and salaries may be limited.
If so, I hope we don't get screwed for winning.
