Daddy Rick might want him. 🤷♂️Get this kid. He’s good.
Mark, call Rick. Rick, call Ricky. Let’s get this one rolling quickly.

I really like this kids game!Points, assists and shooting looks really good. Is he a major league defender also?
Google turned up nothing, Rodney is from Georgia and this guy is from California, so I’d say probably not… BUT the Pitino connection does make you wonder. Is this feller any relation to the legendary Rodney Dent?
Seems like everyone is just gonna gloss over this. This year, thought SEC play, has absolutely highlighted that our guards have to be able to play great defense.According to an NBA scouting report I read, Dent was knocked for his lack of consistent defensive effort and turnovers due a lot to forcing difficult shots around the rim. Now there were plenty of positives too, and nobody disputes that he's a really good player. But I did see him dinged for defensive effort - which is different from defensive ability.
Very much agree. And maybe that defense can come in a team defense setting even if a guy is not great out on an island. And, of course, I'm not trying to knock Dent in the sense of saying I don't like him as an option or even that he isn't a capable defender. Because he's good and I'd be happy if Pope brings him in. We're just discussing potential pros and cons - which every player has, right? But it's harder (for me anyway) to try to judge defense on statistics or even watching a player a little bit. The offensive pros and cons generally jump out fairly quickly, which is probably due to a bias I have for offense when watching a player.Seems like everyone is just gonna gloss over this. Oh yeah! 2-4 million easily. I heard from a good source. My source was from this thread. He will not command the numbers being thrown around here.
Let's just tamper with Bruce Thorton and get him to go ahead and enter the portal with a no-contact tag (because he gave UK the old silent verbal). So Dent is likely Nova bound, so back to Thomas being the top of the PG (unless Smith enters) Portal wishlist.
I’m surprised he hasn’t already entered the portal.Let's just tamper with Bruce Thorton and get him to go ahead and enter the portal with a no-contact tag (because he gave UK the old silent verbal).
I’m betting most all of these guys going into the portal think they’re going get 5 million though, lol. Some of you guys need to be agents. 2 million, 4 million????? NBA money. BETTER than NBA money because the season is half as long and in college EVERYthing is taken care for you.
I've not see one TRUE dollar amount any player has received. Florida State has some guys that say they didn't get what they were led to believe they would....but that's about it.
I can't see paying your college player as much or more than your college assistant.
Eaglestaff is way too streaky.who would you choose over Dix & Eaglestaff?
need shooters to take the place of Brea
This.So Dent is likely Nova bound, so back to Thomas being the top of the PG (unless Smith enters) Portal wishlist.
So long as he doesn't go to Duke.
You would think that if the players had agents they would be advised as to the possible ranges at least. But who knows? If it's really the wild wild west out there maybe the agents don't even know how far they can push it.I’m betting most all of these guys going into the portal think they’re going get 5 million though, lol.
My pants are streaky, Eaglestaff is clutch. Kid was asked to do a lot of heavy lifting that he wouldn’t have to do here and I bet he’d be a lot more efficient.Eaglestaff is way too streaky.
In 18 of 33 games he made <40% of his shots.
In 13 games he made <30% of his 3’s.
Take away his 2 big games and he was a 34% 3pt shooter.
The 3 games surrounding his 51pt game he scored 20 total points going 0-10 from 3.
Hard pass unless he wants to be our fourth guard.Eaglestaff is way too streaky.

Don't forget Reed Sheppard was great at getting steals. He was also great at getting lose on defense and giving up buckets.Well he averages almost 1.5 steals per game and 1 block per game. I posted SOME of his games above. he had multiple games with 3/4 steals, 2/3 blocks. You have to play SOME defense to post the steals and block totals he does. had 5 steals in ONE game, and had 3 blocks in a game.
Agents almost always promise the sky . Did you ever see the documentary on Lenny Cooke? You would think that if the players had agents they would be advised as to the possible ranges at least. But who knows? If it's really the wild wild west out there maybe the agents don't even know how far they can push it.
I thinks too, plus at uk, hopefully he would have much more talent around him, thus less forced shotsMy pants are streaky, Eaglestaff is clutch. Kid was asked to do a lot of heavy lifting that he wouldn’t have to do here and I bet he’d be a lot more efficient.
Wow.
So, will Rick be mad at Pope and UK if we take Little Ricky's star PG????
Not a real reporter. Just guess and deletes things. Pitino to Xavier anyways

This kid is the TOP PG in the portal so far. Would LOVE to get him!!! I like him better than the All-American Smith from Purdue!!!
I just saw that.Lil Ricky off to Xavier…how deep is Xavier’s pocket ?!
