Does Kentucky's three-heavy offense neutralize Cooper Flagg?

I would find that pretty encouraging personally…15-10-5 and he didn’t shoot well…
Volume scoring is not encouraging/appealing. 5-15 would be a BAD offensive game

The other stats (assists good, steals very good, rebounds were fine) were though, I'll give you that.

Forget the completely new coaching staff?
I don't think that matters when the players are all new too. It matters when you have a bunch of returning kids used to how the old coach did things. But with most P5 schools 70-80% of the players have new (to them) coaches.

dUKe just beat Arizona State by 56. I think they are going to be very difficult to beat and Kentucky will have an uphill climb. The Cats need to be focused and ready to rebound and defend. Hopefully, the experienced veterans of UK will be able to offset some of the talent gap. GBB!

Not sure where the confidence is coming from with a completely new coaching staff and roster. We have no idea how we will look against legit competition.
One could ask where your negativity is coming from as well. We know Pope is a good coach and the players all have experience and are proven. Why wouldn’t a UK fan not think positively is the real question.

Well at the half, I am not that impressed with Flagg, he is a good player but that other white kid is the better of the two at least tonite. UK is letting Duke push them out and they stopped moving the ball at times because of it. Easy fix, if you have Duke spread out, we need more hard cuts to the middle of the floor and basket.

What am I crying about? I’m content with this performance. That doesn’t mean he’s a proven good coach.
One team has 3 NBA players and according to a large group on this forum the other has none and that roster was made in 2 months and it’s a 1 point game.
